Question for the Golds about the "Appreciation drink"
 What appreciation drink? We're Gold, and all we got were a couple of bottles of water. We were just recently on the Breeze (May 9 - 17). Carnival discontinued giving coupons for a free drink to Red and Gold members.
It was effective May 15 sailings.

Just wanted to add...
We traded out #1 priority luggage tags and got #30's instead.
We vacated our room about 8:30 and headed to ensconce on the lido and have breakfast.
I had booked a day room at the Rodeway Inn on State Rd.
For $49, They promised a shuttle would pick us up at the port, and we would have a room to use for the day, with a shuttle ride to the airport later. All included.
We got off the ship 10ish, claimed our bags and zig-zagged out past customs.
I called for the shuttle and they said it would be about 45 minutes. Which was more like an hour.
Check-in was smooth and the room was pretty OK. We ate at the on-site pub, and I had some really good coconut shrimp and a salad.
Most of us napped, and my GF went to read by the pool. I also burned up some time on the free wifi.
They got us to the airport, and all considered it was the best post cruise "excursion" ever !
This place runs like a clock. And they have a guy on a bullhorn in the lobby announcing shuttles to the port, airport and local mall, like it was an old Greyhound station.
Mind you, it's not a 5-star hotel by any means, it served it's purpose well, and I would use them again. No problem.
We stayed at this Rodeway last year. The pub at this hotel was awesome. Had the best prime rib for a very reasonable price ever.

I think it was my cruise on Pride in 2009 when I got the (generously sized) sample tube of Suave Mango Mandarin lotion. I loved the scent and used it throughout the cruise and for months afterwards at home until it ran out. Since then, I've bought it several times. The scent still brings back happy cruise memories. It's silly, I know, but I miss the free samples.:o
This has become my all time favourite. I was given a couple of extra small tubes and lost all but one. I buy the large bottles for home and just refill the small one for my purse. I am scent-sensitive and I have no issues with this product. Last year, toothpaste and breath-rite only

We just finished our Breeze cruise. We had a direct flight from Buffalo to FLL, the day before. Stayed at the Rodeway Inn Airport/cruise port hotel on State rd 84. The hotel had a free shuttle pick up from the airport. They have a shuttle to port of Miami for $30. per person, however we used ridesas dot com. It was $15.00 per person. They don't start picking up until 11:00 am. They will then take you to the airport after the cruise, again $15.

Last time I was in Roatan, my favourite port, I purchased some metal Christmas ornaments in a shop at the cruise port. These were made by locals at Made in Roatan. They have a website and a Facebook page. I love this stuff. Make sure you get to the shop.

If you book the first night you get a bottle of wine with dinner.

My New Favourite - Whale Tail of a Sunrise at Roatan April 14, 2011

We had a M&G arranged on the Legend April 10 sailing. It was pay as you go for the drinks, however we had Satchmo's Lounge reserved. CD Wee Jimmy was there with several department heads, (Hotel, Food & Service, etc.) They all knew we were from cruise critic and actually welcomed us with open arms. We had a wonderful time.:D

We were arriving in Isla Roatan on August 14 and I took this sunrise shot. I didn't see the 'image' until after I uploaded it to my computer.

Last time we were there we cruised with Carnival. They sold tickets to Paradise Point on the ship at the Excursion desk. Tickets were $1.00 less and refundable if for any reason you did not go up.
