We had a similar room on the Liberty (absolutely love the room). We placed a tea light on the floor at the base of the pole. It was just enough light to warn us in the middle of the night but not wake us up. We also use the tea lights in the bathroom.

Hello Fireval911,
Thank you for responding to our questions. Which ports had formal nights on your cruise? I hope you enjoyed your cruise.

Hello anthonyy7 -- It's a small cruise world. I will also be cruising this summer and hopefully stopping in Guernsey, but my cruise is later than yours. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you.
Thank you everyone for the above information.

i asked my daughter if she's sail on the majestic again. she said yes, especially if you go on knowing that it is a different set up. the staff has been wonderful to them. fyi they got their suitcase today--around dinner time--in time to put it outside their door for pick up as this is their last night. their steward told them as they returned to the cabin and my dd said she laughed so hard!
I'm glad to hear that your daughter would sail again on the Majestic. It's also nice to hear that the staff was "wonderful to them" and that they finally got their luggage back (sorry it took their entire cruise to catch up with them though).

Cozgurl,
I don't know if the menus are different for specialty restaurant lunches as I didn't eat there for lunch.
I'd like to add that Chops on Adventure was as good as Morton's. I was astounded! We also bought the 5 day specialty dining package on board for $105 pp.

I am so glad to hear that Chops is now on the Adventure. It was sorely missed on my January cruise.

Has there been a mention of Chef's Table?

"Captain Sagani had his finger on the Love Boat horn today leaving Livorno though. There was a fantastic echo from the hills in the distance which I captured on video, and will upload once I have capable internet. "
An echo from the hills. How cool! I hope the upload works out so that we can hear it. I am enjoying the ongoing posts. Will be boarding the end of the month.

Debbie ... Anyone thinking of sailing on Majestic had better get a move on seeing as it leaves Civitavecchia in August for China ... :D
Dides is onboard this week as well along with around 40+ of us who are due to attend the meet and greet set up by RumbaLiz.
Thank you for taking the time to provide this real-time review. Many of us are following the thread and hope you will continue updating us. If anyone decides to take the hop on bus in Kotor next week, I'd sure like to hear about their experience. Enjoy your cruise this week!

i will be on the inaugural cruise of the majestic princess. does anyone have info/experience with playing pickleball on princess cruises? thanks!
Picklepro,
My friend and I will be on the Majestic Princess for 2 weeks beginning April 30th. She loves pickleball and would be very much interested in whether it is listed in the Patter. Would you please post something here or on your Roll Call?
Thanks,
Debbie

I recently read a post that there were quite a few wasps at the Park. Can anyone who has visited recently provide any insight? We would be visiting in July. Thank you.

It's also my understanding that if the excursion is booked thru RCI, you are required to wear the life jacket on any water-based excursion, whether you want to or not.

I agree that Royal will miss him. His name is the only CD I can actually remember, and one of my most memorable cruises.
Mr. Spacey, best wishes on your next adventure.

I've been on the Adventure 3 times (all Caribbean cruises). Two of them were over Easter break. We had a corner aft balcony last year. Nice!

I've been on the ship 3 times (all Caribbean cruises). I loved it! The last time (2013 Easter break) we were lucky to get the corner balcony in the back of the ship.
