Harmony service sucks - end of story!
We must have been on different Harmony ships. Our service was wonderful. My one complaint was them limiting traditional dining to one dining room. I don't like anytime dining.
BTW! I thought the cruise director was one of the best we've ever had and we have done 64 cruises. And the same was true of our room steward.

After something broke on a recent cruise I now take along a small tube of Crazy glue. The purser actually had some so I was rescued. I too travel with my own pillow. Thank God for the travel bags that let you squeeze the air out. Instead of the night light, I prefer a small round flashlight the size of a silver dollar to make my way at night. I keep my plastic quart travel bags at the ready at all times. Just give me 24 hours notice and I'm out the door.
BTW, I was told that RCCL doesn't allow booze, water, or soda to be
brought onboard. No champagne as well. Has that changed? Usually, at embarkation most cruise lines allow sodas, water and wine to be brought on.
Security was given as the reason.
50 Years of Cruising on Royal -- Share Your Memories!

My husband and I started in 1997 and our total is 26 cruises on Royal and 15 on Celebrity. We loved all these ships and these days I especially adore the Oasis class ships. The entertainment is outstanding. In the next few months, we will be on 2 more RCCL cruises, one to Alaska and then the Caribbean. We are thankful for such wonderful ships. Cruising is our main choice for vacations.
