  1. We are headed there next week (yay!!) and I have quick question. My son is going to be 16 in a couple of months - will they allow him to drive the wave runners? What kind of ID do they ask for in order for him to drive? I am REALLY not good with tandem riding on wave runners and usually end up in the ocean rather than on the thing so I'd really rather not have to ride with him. :)

    Thanks!!

  2. I realize I'm late on this, but I'll agree with the others. I've been to Mr. Sanchos twice. Both times I booked the all-inclusive directly on their website, walked off the ship and took a cab. All the cabbies know this place and how to get there and it's super easy to get a cab back to the pier. I will say that the last time I went we got off the boat a little later and by the time we got there most of the tables had been taken so I'd still get off a little on the early side. Have fun!

  3. I sailed on Vision in 2012 and I recall on Thanksgiving the Cowboy game was shown in the area that is now Chops Grille. At that time it was a very underused area, only one other event was scheduled in that venue during the 11 days. I recall the Cowboy game because they lost :D. I do not recall if the Lion game was shown, assuming it was though.

    Excellent - thank you!!

  4. I am considering a 5 night cruise the week of Thanksgiving out of Galveston on Vision of the Seas. I KNOW they will show the NFL football games on the deck and in the bars that week, but I had to promise my mother that I would triple confirm with you fine (experienced) folks before she would agree to go. So, can anyone with experience on a Thanksgiving cruise please confirm that she will get to watch her precious team play on Thanksgiving?? ;p
