Hi everyone! We're new to cruising (and this board), too. We're from Dallas, TX. We got hooked on cruising back in May while taking a 5 day trip out of Galveston to celebrate Sarah's college graduation.

Since then, we've gotten engaged. Barely started planning the wedding, but have already booked the honeymoon on the Conquest. We'd love to join y'all on Olivia over Thanksgiving, and the 2-for-1 makes it tempting. But with airfare costing so much, we'll probably have to stick with homeporting for a while.

We are taking our first cruise on Carnival next year. (Yes, out of Galveston! :eek:) So far the posts on this board have been pretty encouraging. We are hoping for gay-friendly tablemates and to make some new friends (gay or straight) on the ship. But if not--we'll just shrug it off and have a great time anyway. :D
