Here in Albuquerque, I found a locally owned lab that provides the Rapid test for $50. I would not lie to my insurance company just to get a free test. Had plenty of appointments, so scheduled Wednesday afternoon at 3:45 Pm and promised results by Thursday noon. If both of us are negative, we will start packing!

We are also in ABQ.  If you don't mind sharing the name of the lab, it would be appreciated.   Thanks!

  2. Well, we sail in two days and just got an email from Seavis that the a Wonders of Nature tour we wanted was cancelled due to not enough people signing up. I read on this board about the bus that goes in to town. With the baseball statues, I think this would be something my husband would like.

Does anyone have details as to where to catch this bus, etc. in relation to the port? Since we sail on Saturday, prompt replies would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

  3. We've gone to it on both of our cruises and will on the next two cruises we have planned. However, I have panic attacks in large groups of people and last time we got there right after they called it. I was in the row right against the wall with a ton of people in front of me. I started freaking out a bit and hyperventilating. Next time will wait till the majority of people go in so I can be in the front. Really started my cruise off badly. I just couldn't believe how many people they packed into such a small place. My poor DH. He knew what was going to happen when they kept putting people in front of us.:(

Wow, do I feel your pain on this one (and so does my DH). I have panic attacks in these situations, too. Last cruise, I almost passed out. I'm glad they put the info on the S&S cards- usually am so freaked by the sweaty, too-close-to-me mob that I can't concentrate on what is being said, anyway.

Next week, we will take our sweet time getting there so we can be somewhere near the front and I don't lose it. Maybe a DOD before the drill will help my nerves, too! ;)

  4. We did the CT on the Spirit last November. I felt the experience was akin to being on Iron Chef America. The food was imaginative and delicious, the wine was plentiful (and quite tasty, IMHO), and the service was impeccable. My only regret is that I've recently had stomach surgery, can only eat about a cup of food at a time, and therefore can't justify the $75 pp for our cruise in September. :(
