If it's Water that you are bringing on board, check out the water package they have available for delivery to your room. They went down on the price awhile back . I purchased a 12 pack for around $5 which is worth it to me not having to carry water around before the room is ready.

I believe the only difference in buying online and on the ship is that online you get 1 extra pic with $149 , 3 with $199 and 5 with $249 . We got the middle package last year and got lots of great pictures, It worked out to less than $9 per picture.

Last year on the Getaway, we arrived at 9:30 and got into group #3 and were able to get vibe passes. There was a huge line for them, glad we got there early as the Vibe did ENHANCE our cruise experience, especially on sea days. Will be trying for the pass again in a few weeks.

The Getaway is a GREAT ship. Sailed her last year and will be back on in October. IMO the ship had Excellent food and Food Venues, Entertainment was good and Service was excellent. Yes the POOL(s, Yes there are two)) are small. However read up on the "VIBE" , it really made our cruise excellent. Yes its a few $$ more and you have to get on board early but if you get a pass then you have Covered lounges, 2 HOT hot tubs, private bathrooms and bar. really worth the little extra for us.

My Favorite place was the "VIBE" beach club. Yes there is a extra cost and you need to board with the first groups to buy a pass. However if you are looking for a place with NO KIDS a Chair available EVERYTIME, a "Hot" hot tub, clean bathrooms and your own bar then this place is a Bargain. The DW and I loved and really made those sea days.

We used BC for the first 12 CRUISES and the only hassle was taking all documents to show DW name changes, that why we got passports. However I'm always tickled that when people get off the ship they leave their passports in the safe, now how will they help if you miss the boat and the passports are sailing away.

Buy The E gift card. Put the Card on your acct on the ship and on the last day withdraw the overage from the kiosk . That it's , Easy peasy:D

Using ours in a few days

I am in a spa balcony on the Glory and all on deck are for 4 people.

Thanks for all your answers. FYI- Glory's spa balcony have no extra perks, the steam room ,sauna and whirlpool are free for all, also paid less than $1100 for the entire cruise.

Already booked a spa balcony on the Glory for the week after thanksgiving,but can upgrade to a suite for only $380 more. Is this worth the extra $$ or would it better spend on excursions and souvenirs??

The cruising health care worker wouldn't hear of the travel ban to self quarantine, they don't air negative news stories on cruise TVs..

I have watched the "Today" show a many of cruises and they have national news.

If you want some at home they sell a frozen mix at us foods "chef" store.

If in Nassau we go to the fish fry.

This question always cracks me up. Why did you get your passport?? maybe if something happens and you have to fly back ?? Well you are on the island with your license and "something happens" and your passport is in the safe on the ship sailing away without you. Well I guess that was money and time well spent getting the passport if your not going to use it. Remember this is just my observation

It's Great. Also try the Pasta restaurant located right above the Burrito bar. They have a LASAGNA that is made with roast beef "BEST I'VE EVER HAD"

I read that adjoining cabins can be noisy. I am booked on Glory for Oct. 25 in 1122 on Spa deck. Any information on whether I should try to exchange cabins?

With no way of purchasing everyday medicine cabinet items on board we always bring a supply of "whatever" and hope we don't need anything. Seems like there would be a demand for these products, but I've never seen anything like that on any cruise ship. Have I missed something?

Depending on the ship, it is usually where you buy Cigarettes and Alcohol (I guess all "DRUGS" together, however it is a small inventory to choose from and about triple the co$t.

Going in 79 Days and they open the FTTF yesterday (Only 15 ,I believe, we snagged 2 ) Keep Checking DAILY (I set a alarm on my phone to remind me to check prices daily, Have saved $100's so FAR:p:p

Go for it, We have "smuggled";) but the price of cheers we don't have to worry about did something make it, We can TRY different drinks, all cokes you want and you can get a drink at the show, dinner, pool, etc.... This is a NO BRAINER for those of us that enjoy Cruising with Alcohol:D{LOL} .
