We were on the constellation in 2015 and the staff was amazing. The food in main dining we were absolutely amazing. Never have we dined in a restaurant on land with food this great! Yes she is an older ship, she does need renos.. we are not going to sugar coat we did find the ship somewhat a let down. .and honestly shabby yes. .the reviews on here are true don't think otherwise. .sure anyone can write anything but we have multiple posters with the same review ( i have read a poster acuse a few people of being the same person ) �� they are all different people. .you will be so amazed at the ports you will not notice these things. .you will have a great time...we are craving that food every day here and actually wish we were on the Connie now..have a wonderful cruise

We are thinking about returning to cruising after many years and we loved the Constellation in the past. Glad to hear the food on the Constellation is good, but is it as you said: "Never have we dined in a restaurant on land with food this great!" Certainly the food was really good the last time we sailed on this ship so maybe Celebrity has upped their game in the food department. Good news for us.

Right know we are looking at a cruise on the Constellation. Would you kindly let us know why you think the ship is shabby and a let down. Also, what ports did you visit that were so great.

Seems to me that the 5pm to 7pm Elite drinking hours in the lounge promote people to buy a package. RCCL is 5:30 to 8:30 and is much better suited for drinks before dinner. It provides a social evening in the lounge, not a wam bam thank you mam, sorry you stayed so long off the ship in port. H

How odd you decided to post on a 5 month old thread about breakfast to slam Celebrity about their "wam bam thank you mam" Elite evening happy hour. Not sure what your motive is, but I assure you most Elite Celebrity cruisers appreciate the evening party.

From your post, I can only assume you are one of those folks who take full advantage of 3 1/2 of free drinks on Royal. Unfortunately, it ruins it for those of us who come into the lounge for a pre-drink for late dining only to find a bunch of loud mouth drinkers.

I honestly believe that RCI does not care about the people that are spending the 100 dollar OBC that may cost them only 30 dollars on drinks or even those that have 400 dollars worth of OBC and spend it all on board;what I feel they have trouble with are the people who cash out the $100 OBC in the casino and pocket it costing them $97 and especially those who cash out 400 dollars of OBC costing them $388.

Or, better yet and go to the purser and get $100 obc or $400 obc back.

WOW I didnt realise that could happen. Why have they not stopped that from happening by keeping casino "cash withdrawal" separate on accounts. Or put a rule that cant be COMBINED with cash withdrawals

Often times OBCs do not include any cruise line money, for instance, you can have a $500 onboard credit made up of $300 from your TA and $200 form Bank of America. If you don't spend it all, up until recently you could get cash from the casino without paying a fee. Now they implemented the 3% transaction fee if you use the casino for taking the cash but no fee if you use the purser.

I'm not sure this answers your question at all, but it's how the current system works.

I am aware that your picture is in the stern but if I were to look at a picture of the forward end would I be right in counting the balconies from the forward towards aft as seen on the deck plans on the RCI site? If I look at the RCI deck plan for deck 7, if I count from cabin # 7006 to #7038 its 17 cabins. Now if I count 17 balconies on an exterior picture. would I be close to our cabin.
