  1. Most cabin balconies have metal rails with glass panels and there is an one to two inch gap between the divider partition and the glass panel. You can see the reflection of the balcony next door, and its occupants, on the glass. I am not advocating not going nude on the balcony, just to be aware that you may be seen so if you hear the balcony door open next door, you might want to cover up, or not, depending on your disposition.;)

  2. Yes it does have saunas, hot tubs & a nice area to relax - all with a lovely view. I don't remember the prices, but you can buy a pass to use these areas for either the entire cruise or for use on any single port day.

I paid $119 for the week pass on the Jade in October. Well worth the price since I used it every day except the last night. I didn't know they closed the spa at 8pm on the last night. I know better next time!

  3. Just got off Deliziosa on Friday after a five-day cruise in the Med. This was the second time on this ship and the 5th Costa cruise. Spend most of my mornings in the spa...and booked 4 spa treatments. Highly recommend the Deliziosa...wonderful spa staff. Really felt the entire ship staff was attentive and friendly. The entire cruise was terrific and will do Costa and the Deliziosa again if I can.

  4. I lived in Europe for the past 10 years, so speedos are commonplace at the beach or pool, although not as commonplace as in the 90's. Never understood the negativity in the U.S. generated by speedos but I can almost understand when I see the typical American tourist in Europe...fat, bald, with a goatee, wearing running shoes, baggy shorts falling off the butt, printed t-shirt and baseball cap. I guess if I looked like that, wearing speedo would be nasty site. Fortunately I don't look like that, so I wear a speedo.
