Thank you for the great review. I also want to send a big cyber hug to you for posting the Fun Times. Thank you SOOO much for that. We will be on this ship Sept. 14th. Just a few more weeks. :D

only "Secret" place I know of is the front balcony that you can get to by going all the way forward on Deck 5 I believe and through a heavy door. Small area but nice for sailaway

$700 cash should be plenty. May want to bump up the on board cash though since you are a family on a first cruise. $300 on board wouldn't be enough for me because I love the specialty coffee shops/drinks of the day/fun shops/steak house/etc...:D
Enjoy your cruise. They are amazing.

They no longer have the extravagant Gala Buffet. I miss that. Loved seeing all the artistic creations that the chefs made with the food. I know they claim to have stopped it due to too much waste, but I did my best to keep it going. :D

Thank you for your review. Loved all the pics and descriptions. We will be on Dream this Sept. Can't wait. We are planning on going to Paradise Beach while in Cozumel this time around but with the wonderful pics you posted on here I am wondering if I shouldn't make a change in plans. :D

We missed our MoBay port last year when on Magic due to winds. We ported in Coxen Hole instead. We made the most of it and took a small sight seeing tour and then went back to the ship. We are going again this year and fingers crossed we get to port in MoBay this time around.

We are usually at the port and sitting in a chair waiting to board by 10 -10:30am. Usually on ship about 11 - 11:30am

My wife collects wooden masks from the different ports we go to. I collect a baseball cap and local currency.

Thank you so much for this wonderful review and the beautiful pics. :D

We asked one of our waiters once about the recipe for WCMC and he gave us the recipe that they use for the ship. Was interesting to read it. Something like 400 eggs and on and on. IF I can find that again I will post a pic. :D

We decorated our door on our last cruise on Triumph out of New Orleans. We brought along our daughter and her family which consists of 3 children, so we decorated our doors with fish cut outs that we bought from a party store. The kids loved it. We did each door with a different color fish so they knew which one was theirs and which one was ours. My parents and my brother and his family also came with us on that cruise and we snuck down the hall to decorate theirs as well.:) It was fun to do, but you don't see them much anymore. When we went on our first cruise back in '07 on the Conquest out of Galveston, just about every door on our floor was decorated and some people even had huge dry erase boards outside their doors to where passers by could write comments and funny sayings on.

LOL There was a couple who did the dry erase board on our last cruise in Sept of '07 onboard the Conquest. I think the whole floor got into leaving messages and things. There was even one time where the marker was taken and someone posted a reward for the safe return of the marker. LOL

We have only been on one cruise before and that was a couple of years ago. Our home port was Galveston,TX so when we got off the ship we loaded our luggage in our cars and headed to the Rainforest Restaurant. Our next cruise will be next year in Galveston as well and hopefully we will be able to do the same.

I would LOVE to do a B2B but they won't let me take that much time off work at one time. :( Maybe one of these days
