Gary & Bonnie from PA we just booked this cruise today , looking forward to the ports they are all new to us.

I am also having an ongoing issue with the Rewards site ,I ordered 3 $500 Carnival gift cards on Sept 16 ,2022 ,we also never got the confirmation email but are card was charged , we still have not gotten our cards or refund , all we are getting is promises . No more gift cards for us , not worth the aggravation

Thanks for the suggestion of how to search , what I was looking for was actual experience
s from users on here .

We are cruising in May and have an 830 PM flight home from Orlando Sanford , does anyone have a suggestion for a hotel day room anywhere from Port Canaveral to the Sanford area , just looking to kill the day , not enough time to go to the parks and we have already done the Space Center several times

Before the pandemic Carnival used to offer guests returning from a cruise a special offer to book another cruise , do any guest that have recently returned from a cruise on Carnival know if they are still doing this ?

My BFF and I were scheduled to sail on the Fantasy out of Mobile on October 3. I know the Fantasy has been sold and is being replaced by the Sensation. I got an email from Carnival letting me know not to call, they will be transferring our reservation over. They haven't updated anything. My email stated that the transfer should be completed by July 23. Today is the 27th and still no news. Right now, when I look on Carnival, Mobile is completely blacked out.
My question is this - those of you who were to cruise on the Sensation out of Florida, have you been transferred to a new ship or are they working on your reservations?
Just curious.
Thanks!!
The original email said this transfer would be completed by August 23 not July 23 .

Cartons may be OK , but how do you carry a carton in your knapsack carry ashore , cans always taste like metal and I'm just guessing but I don't believe that the price of either of those options would be reasonable compared to the cost of bottles.
-
If Carnival eliminates the option to buy bottled water and will not allow us to bring our own we will probably not cruise with Carnival again , simply cannot drink the ship's water due to being allergic to chlorine.

Can anyone tell me which cabins on the Sunrise include a mini- fridge.
-
I purchased thru insightful the company was C&F Travel Insured International , the claim process was very long and I had to provide a lot of documentation but I did get fully reimbursed in the end

If you register for an account on the UPS website they will send you an email telling you when to expect your package , you will also have the option to electronically sign for your package if you will not be home.

I also thought that I would never need insurance , this past Sept. I had to cancel our cruise about 24 hrs before sailing do to a medical emergency , I had insurance and was just reimbursed for 100% of my loss , I also thought that I was only protecting myself in case we needed medical evacuation . We will never consider booking a trip again without insurance !

I got an emailed outsell offer for our June 2019 cruise on the Miracle .The offer was to go from an obstructed balcony to a extended balcony for $32 total, the savings was $85 per person over what the currently selling for. I took the offer immediately!
-
My wife and I were supposed to be on this cruise ,we had to cancel for a medical issue at 3PM on Saturday just as we were getting ready to drive down to Baltimore ,we are almost glad we did not make it we really wanted to go to Bermuda. No more cruises at the peak of hurricane season for us !

Trans Bridge bus line out of the Lehigh Valley PA has service from ABE airport to the cruise port for around $60 per person, we have used them a couple of times
-
We are on the same cruise ! See you on board

On our first 2 trips we brought about 6 conch shells back home with us with no issues, on our stop last year we had our shells taken from us by ship security over an issue about smell, these were not freshly harvested shells , but old shells from the beach , I have since been told that the conch graveyard is now part of the Turks national park system and shells are not supposed to be taken.

I have had it work both ways, I canceled a cruise with early saver last month for August 2017 and booked a different cruise at the same time and did not pay a penalty , last year I had to cancel twice and paid for the penalty both times.

Yes we are on the Journey cruise in August we have been in San Juan on several other cruises, and we decided to just wing it this time . Thanks for the recommendations we will look into the Parrot Club.

My wife and I will be in San Juan on Sunday Aug 28 from 3PM to 11 PM we are planning on touring 1 of the forts and then having dinner , we are looking for a restaurant to go to and have Mofango for dinner within walking distance from either the cruise port or the forts that has authentic PR food that will not break the bank , does anyone have any specific recommendations ?

I don't think a ship built in 2005 and refurbished in 2011 would really be considered "old "

The tour was $95 on the Splendor , it may be a little less on some of the smaller ships

I took this tour last month , as soon as you board the ship go to the excursion desk and buy tickets , they go fast since they only sell 2 groups of 16 tickets each .
we met in the library on the last sea day at 8:30 AM , we singed in and gave the guide our tickets , we also had to give up cell phones and cameras since these are not allowed on the tour. ( they check you with a metal detector ).
We walke thru some crew only decks and went to the crew only hot tub break area .
went into some lower deck areas like the laundry , food storage areas , freezers , recycling areas .
We went to the bridge and met the Captain and the bridge crew ( pictures were taken with the Captain )
Toured the main galley , and also the galley areas behing the dining rooms , also saw the crew cabin areas , crew lounge and crew dining rooms , and training areas , went to the engine control room , we did not get into the actual engine room .
tour ended in the steak house , we were given a tote bag , cap , lanyard at the end of the tour , delivered to our cabin was a plate with several desert items on it , and later in the evening the photos that they took were dropped off in our cabin .
this tour is very good , especially on the larger ships .
there is a large amount of walking involved and it takes about 3 1/2 hours to complete.

Gary & Bonnie from PA booked this last month after the itineraries were posted , we have been to all the ports except Amber Cove at this point , then today I also booked the 12 day Journey cruise for Feb 11 , 2024 , can't wait to try out the ship from a port fairly close to home .
