  1. What ship has one pool?

So from what I can tell, Breakaway has one “free” pool area open to both adults and kids. It looks like the other “free” pool is a kiddie pool in the kid’s aqua park area. Vibe is 18 and over and cost extra. Spice H2O is adults only. And Haven is only for Haven cabins.

So that is what I meant by one pool. NCL should really have 2 "free" (non-kiddie) pools to accommodate the amount of people.

  2. Water should NOT be bottled! Drink it out of the machines or out of the water spout in the buffet. Drink it out of the tap, but stop asking for bottled water, it is hugely wasteful!

It is however convenient! Bring or buy something reusable for water. NCL has one of the highest environmental ratings on the sea. I think that is at least a factor of why they don't want you drinking bottled water.

They really don't want to give it away so everyone will be leaving empty or partially empty bottles everywhere.

Thank you! I thought I was crazy for thinking why can't people just drink water in a cup or reusable water bottle. Plastic water bottles are KILLING our planet. Now that I'm done ranting......

NCL should really have 2 good sized pools, both which are free and open to everyone. One tiny pool for 3,000 people is not enough. And they need to put a stop to the chair hogging.

Also agree that they should make casino smoke-free. It's too small of an area and it's usually in an area you need to walk through or around and the smoke is disgusting. The smoke is really bad for those of us that have allergies and I'm sure I'm not the only person that doesn't like or can't be in the casino because of the smoke. Have designated outside areas near the casino where people can go to smoke.

  3. Double occupancy means first 2 passengers are charged, remaining people in your party aren't charged. This happened to me, you'll keep whatever perks you have in place as well. If you upgrade to suite category the daily service charges go up as well, but if you've prepaid them, you are grandfathered in and won't be charged the difference. Happy sailing!

    Thank you!

  4. I too have received 2 upsell emails in the past two weeks for our upcoming cruise and before I call them, I have a question for all of you.

We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children) currently booked in 1 mini-suite. The upsell emails say the pricing is based on Double Occupancy. Does this mean that only the first 2 people are charged the upsell cost? And that my 2 children wouldn’t be charged extra? Or is every person in the room charged the upsell cost?

  5. So would the folder be good for cocktail dresses so they do not wrinkle?

Would it also work for my husbands suit?

    Thanks for the information

I know the folder comes in different sizes, mine is the 18" and holds 8-12 shirts/pants, of course that depends on the thickness of them. I wouldn't put a suit in it, even though they say you can, maybe the pants if you wanted. But I think folding the jacket would be akward. You could put a cocktail dress in there, if it's the kind of material that allows for folding. Here's the description:

"Comes with a folding board with instructions

Holds 8-12 items: dress shirts, blouses, slacks or bulkier garments such as sweaters, blazers and suits (depending on size)

    Prevents wrinkling

    Organizes your luggage"
