OK...so I thought I would to do the web check in thing for our B2B cruises in January/February of next year.
I had no problems whatsoever. When I was done, I got an on screen message stating that my e-tickets would be available at 20 days prior to departure...fine with me. Within a minute I got an email from MSC with my e-tickets attached. Go figure...

Agree about how great Pasquale was. He is home on vacation now and is not sure which ship he will go to next.

We returned from our first MSC Yacht Club cruise last month; we agree with all you have said! My initial reaction was to write a negative review so people wouldn't book it so it would be more available [emoji6].
The only thing I found disappointing on the entire cruise was, while in Puerto Rico, they had the Puerto Rico flag flown above the Stars and Striped; that's a no-no!
We enjoyed the Yacht Club so much that we cancelled the two RCL cruises we had booked and booked four more in the Yacht Club (and saved $$$).

A long time ago, I got my BS degree using a slide rule.
During my Masters program I had to "learn" ANSI Fortran and TI Basic. What little I knew I have long since forgotten.
I can (usually) get my iPhone to do what I want it to do.
I have never written any code, debugged a program, or developed an app.
I feel these qualifications are more than enough for me to be considered for the position of IT Manager at your company.
My compensation requirements are reasonable, I believe:
1. Enough salary to cover gratuities on all of my cruises.
2. Unlimited free cruises in at least a Grand Suite (so I can interface with
the end users over a cocktail to see how we are doing).
3. A Premium Drink Package for each cruise.
We have our own airplane; we won't need your new air program.
Thank you!
:cool::rolleyes::eek:

We were told the doors were being removed from all 6 of the new Grand Suites. I Did not ask about any other cabins.
The wall paper has some obvious places where it did not adhere properly.

The Senior Deck Supervisor came to our cabin this evening after we expressed the same concerns. She acknowledged that others had already complained. She said they are going to install a shower curtain to alleviate the flooding problem.
I asked what had prompted the change. I am not making up her answer! She said that a "rather large lady" had made a "formal complaint" that she could not fit through the shower door!
She also confirmed that much of the wall paper is being replaced during next week's cruise.
Other than this small glitch, great cabin and cruise.

Not a big deal, but...
We came back on board today to find that the shower door had been removed and replaced with an (about) 24 inch clear glass splash plate. This leaves about 75% of the shower completely open to the rest of the bathroom. DW just got in the shower and the bathroom floor is mostly flooded already. Not sure why they made this change.
Our cabin attendant was surprised also. He told us that next week the are changing all of the wall paper in the cabin.
We love the cabin overall. Have taken photos of the new shower "no door" and will figure out how to post them soon.

New deck plans seem to be missing the Gold Seapass Card Only area and bar forward above the Solarium, Deck 17 me thinks, or did I miss something? (Couldn't possible be an oversight on RCCL's part.)

"The main area I'd like to see is improvements in intraship communication. It can be tough to find someone aboard. I could see having some sort of app that you download to your smartphone ahead of time and use it to send messages over the ship's intranet between handsets."
Take a look at the Ripple Cruise Communicator app. Designed to address this concern...app is $0.99...no extra cruise ship charges.

I say again...Nickel of the Seas and Dime of the Seas...
-
We always leave our passports in the safe, and carry our passport cards when going ashore.

The entrance to the Concierge Lounge is on deck 11; it is also where the "main" part of the lounge is located. There is an upstairs in the lounge; it isn't used much of the time. They do hold the Chef's Dinner up there nightly...you can barely hear it in the lounge on Deck 11. Cant imagine it would be a noise problem for you.

Nickel of the Seas
Dime of the Seas
...but I repeat myself.

"I went with "other" because I did not book in December BECAUSE of D in D. Have avoided that month like the plague because of this promotion.
Now that it will not be, I'll consider sailing in December again."
Ditto.

Deck 17 is the best, however..,

Just got our luggage tags in the mail for b2b coming up...both in suites...they do not say "Suite" on them anywhere...

Noticed that, also. Nothing on Carnival board about it yet. Refurb schedule for Carnival Freedom shows "2014", but that could be old info. Someone will know the answer!
-
Just got back from Allure...cabins 14649 & 14651. No noise problems to report!
-
We had 12727 on Oasis last year. Next to last Boardwalk balcony starboard side. Loved it! Great views of Aqua Theater, port side big screen, wake. Noise not an issue ever. Have the same cabin booked for Allure in February.

Had a similar situation several years ago on Mariner...not as much value in our bag. The good news is that we got a call from RCI 17 days after we returned and they had located the missing bag. It was returned with nothing missing and no damage. Sometimes, I guess, the paperwork helps.
RC to MSC what am I missing?

We are also D+ on Royal. We tried the Yacht Club on Divina several years ago; returned from that cruise, cancelled the four we had booked on Royal and booked four more in the Yacht Club. We have done several others since, including on Seaside, have four more booked now. We haven't cruised with Royal since; in our opinion, the Yacht Club experience, staff, and amenities far outclass what we experienced on Royal.
I highly recommend you give it a try!
