Ok, so it might end up with turning up at the local council HQ and saying what's your advice then as I don't fancy the £5000 fine for travelling by public transport all the way home. Or just leap on a train, actually 2 trains and 3 taxis and don't tell anyone!
Apologies for being rude, Very stressed out at present.
You could always take a lateral flow test before you leave home for your cruise. You would then know you would be safe to travel before arriving at the cruise terminal.

I am interested in booking the Star Pride for Christmas and am finding it quite difficult to find anyone who will book it in the UK it would seem only US agents.
I am concerned that if we book via the US will we have the same protection as we would have if we booked at home? I am sure that the US citizens are protected but would it cover us Brits ?
I know that agents cannot be mentioned but I just wondered why UK agents don't sell Windstar?

Sorry Oxfords is in Oxford Street!

In-town suggestions where I've eaten & survived :):
Bouzy Rouge - atmospheric cellar restaurant, alongside the Bargate, easy walk.
Ennios - Italian, by Town Quay.
Olive Tree - Oxford St.
Oxford Brasserie - Oxford St
Langley's Bistro - Bedford Place.
All walkable or v short taxi ride.
JB
nb Cowherds pub - some while since I've been there, now a brewery chain pub, some poor reviews.
All the places JB have suggested are very good, and I would agree re The Cowherds.
The is also Oxfords in Bedford place (different to the Brasserie)
If you would like Indian food then there is The Tiffin Club in Oxford St.
As there will be teenagers they might prefer to go Pizza Express also in Oxford St or TGI Fridays in West Quay Retail Park, not my choice but I know teenagers enjoy them.
I am sure they all have websites that can be found by googling.

Nearest is Asda, 2 mins. - front door is in Portland Terrace, which is up a steep hill, but another entrance opp. coach station & use their elevator.
West Quay is a retail mall, a couple of minutes further, same direction, the supermarket there is Marks & Spencer (not Tesco), access from your direction is through the John Lewis store.
As Simon's answer, both are supermarkets, both sell alcohol. Asda quicker & cheaper, M&S if you want to browse the mall.
JB
Marks and Spencer do not generally sell branded spirits though, so if you want a particular make best to stick to the Supermarkets or an Off Licence.
Not too far from where you are staying is the Majestic Wine Warehouse on Western Esplanade, although they sell mainly wine the do also sell spirits and beer.

They do local deliveries, I am not sure what their policy is but you may be able to arrange a delivery to the hotel.
Drinks Package
in Cunard Line

We are trying to work out of the drinks package is worth getting. Has anyone had it and did they think it was value for money?
If we order a gin and tonic are they counted as a soft drink and an alcoholic drink or is it one drink that needs to be under $12?
We usually order wine with dinner. We would usually order a bottle but if we had the drinks package would order it by the glass. Has anyone done this?
