  1. I've been trying to call RCCL and just don't seem to be anyone picking up the queue. . I call last night and was on hold for over 30 minutes. . I am literally on the phone now and have been on hold for 1.5 hours.. is anyone else having a problem getting their calls answered? I totally understand the call volume must be high due to this Coronavirus issue.. but they say it was like only a 15 minute hold..

  3. Awesome. I was going to reply, but decided to look before I did. Actually, I have been meaning to post the same question.

     

    As of right now, the AFT Camera is up to the minute, but I'm getting some sort of error for the fwd camera. Hopefully they'll both be operating soon.

     

    Unfortunately the Camera has not updated for days. ..even though it may have the correct date. ..it has had the same video shot the last few days. .those people walking in the background have been there for days. . :eek:

  4. Well not much of an update at all. I appreciate some of the input here...I may have not mentioned. .this booking was made with 4 to a cabin... I and my DH we're booked in a different cabin...got our refund for that cabin. ..my 4 sisters were in another cabin..deposits made on 4 different cards ..which 2 deposits were on my card..hence. ..why I am inquiring...so that rules out the one card issue. .. as celebrity has told us it was one of the banks that kept denying the refund. ..they have admitted now that it is an IT problem on their end. ..so they have 2 IT supervisors on the issue and still nothing is going through ..my question still remains...how long is long enough to wait ...should they not just send out paper checks to get our money to us?

Had to cancel a cruise 2 and a half weeks ago. ..still have not received refund after countless hours on phone and many promises of returned calls that has not happened. ..escalated to a supervisor and she assured me she would call with information from accounting...and no. .I am beyond furious. ..the issue started where one of the cc used was jeapordized and replaced...however the bank account was the same...the cruise was canceled before deadline of final payment so no issues with that. .. cruised with celebrity once and LOVED it...but if this is normal practice for this multi-billion $ company I won't sail with them again...nor rccl..I really don't know what steps to take next... any help out there? Also just got off phone with guest relations just to be promised another call back from supervisor as she got called out of office yesterday and couldn't return my call... my anxiety is rising with all this...bad bad taste for celebrity right now...

  6. I have been looking for these all inclusive offers and would like to know where you are finding them please. I see the 123go offer ..but it's not the "true" 123go. ..it's more like "Pick your perk". What am I missing? I'm looking for a Caribbean cruise.. I have seen on other sites some great deals but they seem too good to be true but I do plan on calling a few. Is it true that once you book with Celebrity that you only have 60 days to transfer your booking? What's to stop you from just cancelling with Celebrity and booking with TA anyway as long as you do it before final payment date? Thanks for any clarification that's is given.

Sad to hear pricing has gone up at Bistro from 2 weeks ago...we sailed the march 28 voyage and thought about trying it which we never got to...as low as $7 sounds I was trying to justify the cost compared to everything else offered on board...didn't think it would be that great of experience. ..which I've heard is nice but didn't feel it for us.

     

    Thank you for updating your TA voyage. .we would love to do one in the future...Reflection was our first Celebrity cruise and she is a beautiful ship...we had such a wonderful time...I'd have you say hi to some of the staff but there are so many to name...the crew was awesome..

     

    We are booked on Infinity for Oct. ..is there a review that you have done for her....would love to read up on it...any suggestions or hints of any kind? :)

  8. Perfect!!! We just got a GTY CC for 2017 for the Equinox which is doing two nights in New Orleans for the Mardi Gras!!! We love port overnights to explore the "nightlife"!

     

    I would love to see more itineraries with a call to New Orleans. Not too many offers for that stop at all and would be a great addition. And I am guessing that many feel the same as everything is sold out from CC and up. However, I'm not sure I could justify the price... over 5K for 2...for Veranda ..WOW! :eek:

  9. I will more than likely be upgrading to the premium pkg once on board... however my DH may not ...as he is usually just a beer drinker. My question is If I order a flight ...do I choose my flavors or are they already chosen for you? And my understanding is a flight consists of 5? Not sure I can do this alone :D Would I be able to allow him to help me...which I doubt he would take more than a sip because he hates the alcohol ..thank you for your help ..

  10. I just looked at my upcoming cruise and do see the "fees and credits" line on the main booking page. However, if you go to the "Print Cruise Docs" and then select "View Docs", scrolling down to page 2 (or 3), you will see a block in the upper left for OBCs.

  11. I submitted form a few times online and was declined. ..I called carnival and was given the new rate. I do see the new rate on my cruise manager is now less than I paid...so I know that was updated. .but will it show a credit of the difference paid as onboard credit or do you see that once you board?

  12. If you can get to a Mega Mart, it's even cheaper prices for vanilla.

     

    Where is the Mega Mart located? I was thinking of going to downtown just to be able to shop for vanilla..but thinking I would end up paying more after I pay for taxi just to get there. If I can get it at port for a good price I think I would end up heading out to one the AI beaches for the day.

  13. The company on that website SELLS vanilla. Bad vanilla from Mexico is their sales pitch. I am a graduate of 2 culinary schools and I can tell you Mexican vanilla is very good, I use it all the time, you just have to watch the label.

     

    So just curious as I would love to buy some of this fantastic vanilla...when you say 'watch the label' what exactly should I watch for? ..and what should I expect to pay? Would it be cheaper to buy downtown cozumel...or is it the same price at port? I have been to cozumel many times and have yet purchased any vanilla...so this will be on my "must do/get" list...thanks for the help.
