Glad you enjoyed your trip. Do you have any dailies you can post? Do you remember particular crew by name. We have sailed the breakaway multiple times out of NY. We miss Bermuda. Who was the general manager? Did you play in the casino?
The dailies for the first cruise were posted in the roll call for the Sep 26 - Oct 3rd sailing.
Looks like you found them.

Does anyone know the time at which you can start to book items 120 days out? I thought it used to be 8 AM EST but now I'm not sure.

Are there any cruise ships from the NY/NJ area cruising to Bermuda in 2021? We were on the canceled Summit cruise, and now would be open to almost any other line. Thanks.
Check out NCL there are quite a few 7-Day 2021 cruises from NY to Bermuda.

I also had to use the chat feature to request a confirmation for a cruise on the Breakaway that was booked a few weeks ago. We forgot we didn't receive one until we paid on the cruise and never saw the payment confirmation. Seems to be 2021 cruises where they are not auto sending the confirmations.

The bus you get on from the port is the bus you do the driving portion of the tour with. With the excursion through the ship you have an extra hour past closing to explore the Kennedy facilities.

Do you happen to have a current copy of the dailies from the cruise?

I am actually surprised it worked for as long as it did.

This is for a Spa pass? Can you tell me what is included in this spa pass? I have never heard of a spa pass and have never sailed with NCL before. (Sailing Nov. 12th)
Thanks :)
Yes. Spa pass (Thermal Suit Pass) includes unlimited access to the Thermal Suite portion of the Spa; it does not include any treatments or services. Access includes, use of the steam room, sauna, salt room, thermal pool and wonderful thermal loungers.

Not sure if you are still looking for these but JLY Girl posted the below:
This was our second time on the Breakaway....Here are the Freestyle Dailies:
Day 4 - GSC (this is the updated one that was published after the GSC was cancelled)
I still need to scan the Splash Academy one, I'll try and post it on Monday.

All cruiselines had to stop doing the cruises to nowhere effective spring 2015 due to new US Border rules or something like that.
We were on one of the Breakaway's last CTNs and had great time and it was our first time on the Away class ships.
We are still sad because there are times when we feel like going off the island to cure our "Rock Fever" and the CTN cruises fit the bill. Instead we have to find last minute cheapo 7 day cruises.
Hi Bluesea777, we were also on the last few CTNs and one with you! Hope all is well.
We miss the CTN as well and would love to see NCL come up with a solution or a work around. Even if they make it a north east weekender out of Portland with one stop in Nova Scotia or Boston with a stop in Nova Scotia I'm sure it would be a hit with those of us in the north east.

We heard and felt so many vibrations from the Epic aft. You don’t feel the vibrations so much on the newer ships them. Other than that you will have a great view. I agree with BlueJai, it’s still worth it!

Might be easier to charter a party bus.

It's a great experience (on par with stingray city). Short boat ride out to the sting ray "pen". Lots of rays and star fish. Don't forget to take your waterproof camera. The handlers will help you carry a ray for that perfect photo.
Do you recall what time of day you picked? We are hoping for low tide when we visit.

Great footage!

I booked my Breakaway cruise for November during the last week of January through NCL.com. Then on Feb 1, my sailing showed up as a Latitudes Insider Offer, so I called NCL. The guy on the line added the LIO offer code to my reservation, sent me a new confirmation with the new code on the top, and the extra $50pp OBC listed as well as my previous Free at Sea and NCL Selects Promos from the initial booking... plus the booking date remained as the initial January date (i.e. before the Feb 3 9 month extra point cutoff). When I asked if I needed to cancel and rebook to get the LIO, he laughed and said it would not be necessary and it would only take him a couple minutes to just add the code to my reservation. The entire call took maybe 10 minutes.
I was very pleased to say the least.
Did he send an amenity confirmation or just the cruise confirmation. I have called several times to have the latitudes offer added but was unsuccessful as it would wipe out my NCL Selects promotion.

The fees on the UBP are waived if you book a haven stateroom.

Gem is backing out now.

Thanks for the heads up!

Ship - Epic
Deck - 12
Stateroom # - 12312
Stateroom Category – B1 (Aft Balcony)
Starboard or Port Side – N/A – only view is aft
Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Somewhat but it was due to our neighbors so that can vary.
Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? – No
Balcony View (Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue.) – Amazing views 180 degrees. Sunset and sunrise are the best and listing to the water turning while underway.
Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? – Normal for an NCL aft balcony. We had the chairs replaced with loungers so we could really enjoy the views and sounds
Was wind a problem? – Not on our balcony but you do feel the wind gusts effecting the Epic due to its height and sometimes we felt like the boat was "shuddering".
If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? – Not that we noticed
Any specific problems with this cabin? – I believe it’s a common Epic problem that occurs when you turn the faucet on. If you turn it all the way on it will hit the bowl at just the right angle so that it skips out of the sink. We just kept a towel on the side for when we forgot.
Any other comments? - The swaying of the boat does not match the direction of the bed. Not a problem for us but I have a friend who likes sides because the bed faces fwd/aft and when the bigger boats sway in in the wind it somewhat rocks you to sleep.

Ship - Sky
Deck - 8
Stateroom # - 8201
Stateroom Category – SB (Owners Suite)
Starboard or Port Side – N/A – only view is forward
Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Yes, very quite
Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? – Yes, but we did not use that feature
Balcony View (Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue.) – Amazing views 180 degrees. Sunset and sunrise are the best. It can be a bit awkward when pulling in to dock and other ships are backed in you end up being the spotlight and tend to be waved to from the other ships guests.
Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? – Oversized as it had a private hot tub, held two loungers and a small coffee table. We ended up taking one of the high chairs from the bar out to the balcony so that we could sit and see above the rail. (Solid steel bottom with a wood handrail due to being on the front of the ship).
Was wind a problem? – At times but it seemed to depend on which direction we were going. Not as much of an issue as we pretty much stayed on the balcony the whole trip.
If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? – N/A
Any specific problems with this cabin? – Sliding door was very heavy, carpet was worn in a few spots, hot tub was a big let down as the faucet was the size of a standard kitchens and took forever to fill. The heating element must not of been working while we were there as it didn’t stay hot.
Any other comments? - You can look up to the bridge from the balcony. When sailing at night you are required to keep the blinds shut (or white lights off) while using the balcony so you don’t hinder the view of the bridge. Our neighbors were reminded of that on the second night. Stateroom comes with your choice of 3 liquors. (We are not big drinkers so they became gifts to those that attended the meet and greet.) Side partitions extend enough so that if you were standing at the rail or leaning slightly over your neighbors to your sides would not see you.

I have wanted to go back on the sky since our first cruise on her and would love to see the suites upgraded. As long as it doesn't get the price tag of the newer haven suites.

question for you who booked. I booked online and did the $5/person paypal reservation. But besides that I didn't get any sort of confirmation. Did anyone else?
I am excited to go on the tour too - just want to make sure I really have reservations - didn't hear anything.
THanks!
We received a confirmation with 24 hours of reserving and paying the $5/pp fee online.

I noticed earlier in the thread someone posted they had time to shop and do other things prior to boarding but they took an evening cruise.
Our ship leaves at 4PM will there be time for us to get off the Kon-Tiki and possibly do the mountain top skytram?

We took our first RCI cruise a few months ago and enjoyed it so much we just booked another. Prior to we were mostly NCL cruisers but we love some of options that RCI offers and seemingly endless options for food all throughout the ship and at various times.
I agree with the others - I am sure you will enjoy RCI.
