The scenery on the trip to Whittier was better on the Anchorage to Whittier part than on the part to Anchorage.

We reached the car/bus/train tunnel in time for the 6:30 slot for trains to Whittier. We reached the dock area about 6:45 PM. Additional Princess representatives came onto the train to pass out the cruise cards

Since we had checked-in on the train and now had our cruise cards, all we needed to do was go through the port security and then onto the Island Princess to start the 7-day voyage to Vancouver.

Where I come from kind, helpful people might think that but would never say it for fear of embarrassing someone or hurting someone's feelings. I think some people on Cruise Critic are hateful. It is indeed possible to buy the Copenhagen Card at the information desk at terminal 3 without having a chip and PIN credit Card.

1. We can buy Copenhagen cards in the airport upon arrival w/ credit cards, correct?

2. We are staying at the Clarion Mayfair. Can we use Copenhagen card transportation to get there with our luggage? if we cannot use copenhagen card transport to hotel, what should we use?

3. I know you have posted this info before, I can't find it tho. Where should we go in what order, and how should we get there with the copenhagen card. We want a canal tour, tivoli, little mermaid, a hotdog, open sandwiches, tivoli, rosenborg castle, and whatever else is on your "must see" see list.

Yes you can get the card mailed hoime to your adress.

But i can't find the info. Can copenhagen cards be ordered in advance by mail? If so, is there an additional fee associated with that? Thx to whomever supplies the repeat answer. I get more senile by the day... Can't remember jack

Thanks Danish Viking. I think it may just have been the website I was using. I have found that the Clarion Mayfair is available on other sites and I have now changed my booking to this hotel. The reviews sound good. We are in Copenhagen on 1st to 3rd June next year. Thanks for your help. Anne

A sandwich is probably costing 35-45 from a take away shop and then a 1/2 Coca Cola or similar brand 15-20.

 

Add a little more if you are sitting in a fancy café.

That is very difficult to say but with something to drink I would say that a starting price of 50 DKK is not entirely wrong but prepare to pay upwards to 100 DKK.

is that 50-100 dkk per sandwich?

We will be in Funchal Nov. 3/4 th over night. Not sure what we want to do. Are ther tour companies that sell tours at the cruise ship pier. If we walk around town will we be able to find a night time dinner folk show tour?
