Every proper port (not tender) has a website showing what ships are at which dock on whatever day. Just put in "port information St Thomas" and it will show you CruiseMapper as well as some other sites. Go to schedules and then your date in port. It is great if you are going to a port with a few docking areas and you want to know if you are in the one closest to the city or a bus ride away. These sites are updated in a very timely fashion as they are for all ships not just cruise ships.

You will also find information on the Cruise Critic research icon at the top of the page. Just go to reviews, then cabin reviews. You can put in your ship and cabin type and look from there. Also, Youtube sometimes has videos of either the cabin you want or similar.

Surely if Celebrity are going to show free movies on top they could show the same ones in the cabins for those who prefer to view there or if there is poor weather and no one wants to sit in the rain and watch. 🥶 It will not cost any more and be worth it for the good will alone. Companies spend a fortune on marketing and PR but do not seem to realise it is the little things that can upset clients.

I believe the answer is "because they can". While you are onboard they can charge whatever they like which is obvious from the prices of the beauty treatments etc onboard. Have a great cruise.

The pool is not Olympic size or anywhere near! Not a training pool by any stretch of the imagination. She will get really dizzy doing her tumble turns for the amount of laps it would require to do any real distance. Have a great time.

There is no bag listed on the Celebrity website Concierge Class amenities anymore. No flowers (they used to be on the coffee table and in the bathroom), no room card holder which we really liked. We really only book for the location now.

We are also very disappointed at the removal of the silver service (Muranos, Normandie etc) on many ships. It is the only restaurant that we will pay to eat in. On Solstice last October, Muranos was waitlisted every night so obviously very popular.

A fine example of the designer not having ever cruised. It might be marginally ok on a 5-7 day cruise in hot weather where you can bring t shirts etc that can be folded but useless on a longer cruise or a cold weather cruise with bulky items. Somebody at Celebrity must have approved this. Perhaps they have also never actually cruised!

We have done the Allen Marine Misty Fjord cruise excursion twice and it has been excellent. Allen Marine has marine tours in a few ports in Alaska and we will always try and do them as they are a quality product. If you are not sure if the tour is being run by Allen Marine just email them and check.
We always recommend them to friends and have had good reports.

:rolleyes:I think the website is an equal opportunity disaster. When we booked our last cruise we had to use Chrome for certain things, Firefox for others and Edge as a last resort for printing the express pass. Go figure?

The good thing about having the drinks package is that you have already paid for it. If you order something and don't like it you can just order something else. No one will judge you! Try the cocktail of the day for variety or work your way through the martini bar menu. Lots of fruity options there. Ask one of the bartenders to make something up. The possibilities are endless. It just depends on which package you have. Have a great time!

Probably best to have a look at the various drinks menus which many people have posted already on the site. Work out what you are likely to drink in a day and how much it will cost you. Then you can compare the package prices for both the Classic and Premium and go from there. We found the Classic was okay but a bit lacking in available wine and Martini Bar. The Premium is excellent but you have to drink a lot to get your money worth. Remember you can take 2 bottles of wine on board at the start of your cruise and if you wish to drink wine in the MDR, the sommelier will recork your unfinished bottle and bring it out again the next night which is cheaper than wine by the glass. There are often specials on the packages available after boarding. Whatever you decide I am sure you will have a great time.

We have spent weeks trying to book excursions on the Celebrity website which as we all know is now fairly useless. We have never in many cruises had a problem. We tried Chrome, Firefox and Edge. We tried emptying caches. We tried everything suggested on cruise critic and a lot more. I rang Celebrity which was useless for advice. In fact, we have rung Celebrity several times regarding this booking for various things which we have never had to do before. As I was ringing Celebrity, dialing 1 for this and 2 for that and finally got to the part where they tell you via recorded message that you can book your tours online, I decided to try one more time. Instead of signing in using our email and password which had worked for everything else, I used our reservation ID. Finally success! We have finally booked our shore excursions! Do not give up! But remember, one wrong keystroke and they will lock you out for 20 minutes.:D

We also received the email from Celebrity regarding Vietnam visa. On previous cruises we had always entered Vietnam under ship obtained visa. Have contacted Celebrity Australia and also Miami to confirm that visa is available on Millenium.

If you read KaiTak cruise terminal information site it will give you information about free and paid shuttles to the MTR stations on days ships are in.

Decide what you want to do in Singapore before you get there. There are so many things to see depending on your interests. The Gardens by the Bay, Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, Jurong Bird Park, hawkers markets or visit Changi or Sentosa for WW2 history. Taxis are cheap and the MRT is very easy to use once you work it out. Walking is easy and very safe but Singapore is either hot or very hot and thunderstorms are usually a daily occurrence. Take your umbrella.

In Vietnam, USD is the preferred currency of vendors. Best to take small denominations with you as normally they will give you change in Vietnamese currency. Also be careful giving your spare dong (Vietnamese currency) to beggers as other beggers will steal it from them if they can. Fights often break out.

We have done the Pacific Coastals 4 times now with Celebrity and varying stops on the way. It is probably my favourite route and this is a great itinerary. Shame it does not have 2 days in San Francisco as they have had in the past. Wish we could go!

You really need to ring your car rental office direct. We are hiring a car through Enterprise and they say the last shuttle to the harbour is 4pm. After that we can leave the car at their premises using a dropbox for the keys. We will need to get a taxi back to the ship and they gave us information on that.

Buchart Gardens is beautiful and I expect a tour will be going there. It stays light until late and Buchart Gardens is lit up for night events. Depending on the night, there may be a fireworks display.

If you wish to tip extra it is entirely up to you. As your tipping is included there is no need to feel obliged to add more. When we had a Celebrity Suite last cruise we tipped the butler $50 when we had our friends in for dinner plus another $50 at the end as he was absolutely wonderful. We also gave our cabin attendants an extra $20 each I think.

We really noticed on a 14 night Canada/NE cruise that they did not change them at all! :( We kept thinking it will happen today, tomorrow etc. But No. We were in CC. We could have asked but you just expect these things will happen eventually. I do not hold out much hope any more. DH lives in hotels 6 months of the year and they normally change them every second day.

Has anyone just come back from a sailing on Infinity and can tell us who are the current staff on board. We are sailing May 26 and are wondering....

This is a great tour to do rather than sitting at the airport for hours.
It included a trip on the the New York Water Taxi (ferry)which went right past the Statue of Liberty and on to Battery Park. We then walked to the 9/11 Memorial where we had time to have a good look around. You bypass all the lines and go straight in. After that we walked around more of Manhattan seeing the sites and finally reboarded the coach for transport to the airport. Our Tour Guide was excellent. The driver stays with the coach the whole time so everything is secure.
I hope this helps. Have a great time.

We have done Option 1 and Option 3. Both were excellent. If this is your first visit and possibly only visit to Skagway I would do Option 3 as you see a wider variety of things. The train is really the reason to go to Skagway.
