as to gay yanks we tried a long cruise on p & o and found it to be full of council house people who were definitely not comfortable with a gay couple.. stick to the American ships and look at celebrity princess and oceania as good choices

Louis and I will be on board and are avid oceania cruisers. will have great staff . Damien as GM is also really great, so we have the best crew, we also know at least 6 others from San Fran and Palm Springs are going to be on board, so this will be quite a great trip.. Cape Verdes are really not worth more than a walk to stretch your legs. Only port I have ever taken the shuttle too and not even gotten off the bus. All in all however a great trip
