  1. If the ship doesn't have any services scheduled, if you're in port try to attend a local service. Ask a local taxi driver to take you. We've done it twice - once on Ash Wednesday in Nassau and once in Barbados on Palm Sunday. It's really amazing to be with all the local island people in their place of worship. I will warn you to not dress too casually. The church in Barbados was absolutely packed, no air conditioning - just open shutters on the windows - birds flying in and out throughout the service. I wore a dress, my husband wore shorts and a button up shirt - and was the ONLY man in attendance without long pants. Not only did we stand out as one of the very few white folks, but his legs really stood out when we went up to the alter to receive communion. Most of the women had stocking on their legs and hats on their heads - very traditional.

I would guess on Easter Sunday, you could attend in Miami somewhere.

  2. I wanted to let everyone know that you can ignore the 'wind tunnel effect' warning about Pride balcony cabin #6115. We sailed a few weeks ago and never experienced any excess noise at all! In fact, the balcony was larger because it extended under the angled bulkhead. We opened the divider to cabin #6119 and had an even larger balcony area. This worked out great for our kids that were in the adjoining inside cabin #6109. Plenty of room for the 6 of us to hang out on the balcony together.

    Happy Sailing!

  3. Booked adjoining cabins 6109 (inside for kids) and 6115 (balcony for parents) . Then I read the review: "Cabins 6112 and 6115 at the bow have double-length balconies, but the outcropping at the forward bulkhead, the bridge wing right above them and the louvered venting that angles up the forward end of the balcony itself create a wind-tunnel effect that makes the space almost impossible to enjoy while at sea. They are also adjoining rooms, so you get no sofa and lots of noise from the next cabin."

Can someone who has stayed in cabins 6112 or 6115 let me if the wind noise was unbearable while at sea?? Do I need to change my cabins?

    Thank you!
