We have a cruise on Serenade coming up in October. How was the food in the MDR if you ate there?

We had the 8:00 seating and found the food to be excellent each and every night I even brought home the menus & daily compass if your interested. I asked the wife she wanted to do a Chops and she said why the food is great here...I agreed

Hope you enjoyed your cruise on Serenade. Is there a Suites or Concierge Lounge on Serenade? Sometimes the deck plans are outdated. Thanks much!

Yes we stayed in a grand suite and they have a Concierge Lounge (Berty) he was excellent they has have a diamond lounge

My ideal itinerary. :) Is the smoke from the casino drifting into the Centrum as bad as ever? That would be my number one bother, sadly. :(

Not that I ever noticed and it wasnt too bad in the casino either

Definitely no dvd player or ipod docking station in our lowly oceanview stateroom. There were not even USB ports for charging devices like there are on the newer ships, so be sure to bring chargers with you to connect to the power sockets.

 

I can't tell you about the pay per view movies or the channel selection, I'm afraid, as were never in the room long enough to watch anything. We did try (in vain) to use the TV to keep track of our account but the system never worked while we were onboard and we had to contact GS for statements.

 

There was definitely no silent disco while we were onboard. There was a DJ in the night club every night and on a couple of nights they had a party night in there but that was it.

 

Those all seem to be negative answers, I'm afraid, but I hope they are helpful anyway.

Do you know if Serenade has dvd players in the rooms, pay per view movies & ipod docking stations in the rooms?. How was the channel selection on TV? Also did they have the silent disco while you were onboard?

I booked serenade for Jan 2019. Embark on my birthday heading to the eastern carribean. This will be my 3rd year in a row on royal on 3 different ships. This trip inside cabin mid ship.
