    Amazon is amazing isn't it?..:;)

I had many a beer at the Rum Runner bar & you are correct....they did pack up early even when we were there a couple of years ago!

  2. As long as you keep the hotel charge on, he will.

That said, its not just him, its the support staff behind him that makes his service possible. Without clean dishes, bar support, headwaiter support, clean linens, etc, service becomes a lot harder for the dining staff. Same for the stewards.

Just for the record, we always keep the automatic charges on! We just like to give a little more for those that go over & above the call of duty!:)

  3. These are the type of waiter/waitress that we like. They make a cruise so much more enjoyable and relaxing. We have had several that were outstanding and they received nice cash tips during and at the end of the cruises.

I always try to be as discreet as possible, don't want the waiters bossman to see what I am doing. I just give him the ole cash in hand handshake!! It's not right that others be rewarded for work that he/she personally did for us.:)

  4. No need to get defensive... I'm not calling you a liar and of course you have the right to voice your 2 cents. I simply don't believe that statistic is true, based on my experience.

While I DO believe there are passengers whose ages range from mid 30's to mid 50's, I do not believe 45 is the median age of adult passengers on Princess.

Based on your experience, what do you think the median age is?
