Spiral, can you report back to any issues good or bad on the ship ??
Thanks,
-
Heavensent, there is an area 1 deck above the Lido deck all the way at the rear of the ship. It is small but it is there. If I recall it is on deck 16 on the port side (left).

We are thinking of going on the CB possibly next February. Can you please report back about the good, bad or ugly things that you have noticed? Pictures are always welcome too. We have been on the CB twice & like the ship, not to big but not too small.
Thanks.

Hello all. We haven't cruised since 2013 & are looking into going on the CB sometime this coming February going to San Juan & St. Thomas. I know it went into drydock in late 2019, but before we book, we were wondering if we can get some honest feedback good or bad on the ship. I did read the previous posts already.
Thanks, Steve.

You are killing me man!! All of these great pics of Ruby bring back awesome memories of our last cruise. The DW has just retired, so we're not sure when we will be able to sail again, gotta watch how we spend the $$ now!
Will be cruising thru all of your pics!!
Keep up the good work!

Amazon is amazing isn't it?..:;)
I had many a beer at the Rum Runner bar & you are correct....they did pack up early even when we were there a couple of years ago!

Norris, we were on the Ruby in 2013 on the same itin. that you are on, it's one of our fav's!! How about a selfie of yourself, you never know when we may run into you sometime?
Pic's are great...nice memories!
Thanks,
Steve

We like Outriggers when leaving FLL. You can belly up to the bar to watch the sunsets or we like to grab a table at the bar with a bucket of ice cold beer & watch the sun setting over Florida. It don't get any better..what a way to start the cruise!

We usually get there around 11:00, that way you have a pretty good chance of getting a seat inside the terminal. You don't want to be standing in line outside!

We go to the purser to punch our cards for our lanyards, drop off carry on luggage in the cabin, get a cold beer, hit the buffet, & then get a bucket of beer to start the week off on a good note!!

We have been on CB twice except in a balcony on Riviera & Aloha. My guess is that the area a stern of those cabins could be for ductwork, piping etc. from the galley & engine rooms. But not for sure!

Thanks for the pics!! The CB is one of our favorites...more pictures please!

The last 3 cruises that we took & had guarantees, we didn't get our cabin assigned until about 5-7 days before we left. Hang in there & good luck.:)

We have been on her twice & everything was awesome both times!!

We haven't had anything bad yet. So I'm going to say..we like everything as our favorite!!:):)

As long as you keep the hotel charge on, he will.
That said, its not just him, its the support staff behind him that makes his service possible. Without clean dishes, bar support, headwaiter support, clean linens, etc, service becomes a lot harder for the dining staff. Same for the stewards.
Just for the record, we always keep the automatic charges on! We just like to give a little more for those that go over & above the call of duty!:)

Even though we are Platinum with Carnival, we decided to try something different, so we booked the Emerald Princess & cruised for 7 glorious days the week of 1-24-10. We were in balcony cabin R223 & it was awesome!!

These are the type of waiter/waitress that we like. They make a cruise so much more enjoyable and relaxing. We have had several that were outstanding and they received nice cash tips during and at the end of the cruises.
I always try to be as discreet as possible, don't want the waiters bossman to see what I am doing. I just give him the ole cash in hand handshake!! It's not right that others be rewarded for work that he/she personally did for us.:)

We always have 1 bottle of wine each. But, that's a good question... I would like to know the answer as well. I would say probably won't be allowed, but I'm sure a more seasoned cruiser will answer it!!

We have been on both, & CB twice. No comparison...CB anyday! Bigger ship, newer, 5 days better than 4.
-
We gave our Lido bar waiter an extra $30.00 cash the day before we got off of Ruby last year & he was very thankful...great guy & good waiter!! All I had to do was give him a wave & he delivered another bucket of beer, since he remembered our folio number.:)

I think its 45-50.
I agree, sounds about right.

We always get balcony guarantee's, but haven't been upgraded to Caribe yet! Still waiting. Enjoy & report back your findings!!

No need to get defensive... I'm not calling you a liar and of course you have the right to voice your 2 cents. I simply don't believe that statistic is true, based on my experience.
While I DO believe there are passengers whose ages range from mid 30's to mid 50's, I do not believe 45 is the median age of adult passengers on Princess.
Based on your experience, what do you think the median age is?
