Hi, while Carnival does such a great job of having GF options at meal times, the last time we went to the tea, there wasn't anything GF. I suggest grabbing a few GF snacks at lunch (fruit/cheese) and taking them to tea. Although it was about 2 years ago, hopefully things have changed as we will be setting sail in one week and definitely plan on going to tea. 

Thank you all so much. There are 15 of us going on this cruise, and many of us don't know each other. Trying to keep up with what everyone wants to do could be a logistic nightmare. We have used the hub app before, but had not used the "chat feature",  and really didn't even know about it. We don't want internet, and this will be perfect for our needs. I feel with this we won't have to spend valuable cruise time waiting on people, we can simply let them know where we will be, then Go To The Fun! Thank you

I recently heard that for about $5 per person, you can activate something onboard that will allow you to send text messages to other ship mates cell phones. I can't find anything about that on the carnival website. Does anyone know anything about this, or how it works?

I'm very excited about this as I am scheduled to sail on the Freedom on 3/30/19. Yay for any upgrades!

We are leaving on the valor out of Galveston on Saturday. We are supposed to go to Yucatán and Cozumel, but that may not happen now. I will be keeping a close eye on Mike’s spaghetti models until time to board. Praying for everyone who comes into contact with Nate.

We are leaving out of Galveston on Saturday, but not going to Yucatán till Tuesday, I think we are to go to Cozumel on Tuesday. Hopefully Nate will be long gone by then and everyone is ok. Already such a disaster in other areas. We may just have a cruise to nowhere all week.

Thanks for the interpretation of "boarding" and "check in" times. I've never understood all that. I love these boards. LOVE them!

My sister and I haven't cruised in a few years due to family illnesses. We are finally going in October on the Valor. When we booked our cruise, our checkin time was 10:30. Since then we have purchased FTTF, and it says boarding at 12:00. Our tickets say 10:30 - 11:00. So I am hoping that we can board at 10:30, and maybe the 12:00 is just when our rooms might be ready. But I'm really not sure. Checking in early to the ship is one of our favorite times together, especially if we've never sailed on that particular ship before. So we are hoping that we can still go at 10:30. Any one have any experience with this?

Do they have yoga in the mornings on the Valor? Or at any time?

We stayed on deck 6 Balcony. Convenient location. Casino is on deck 5 where we spent most of our time. This time we will be on Lido with balcony. Closer to the food.:) Having a balcony is great. I like having a quiet space all to myself to go to.

We are going to stay in a balcony room right below the lido deck. We are on the Veranda deck. You will be passing us and boarding the ship as we get off! I wish I could sneak in your suitcase and get back on.

We have never been on the Conquest, but we met a couple who had cruised 25 times and state that the Conquest is their favorite ship of all time and they won't cruise on any other ship now. That is why we chose this cruise.

Have fun on your cruise........It's so close, yet so FAR AWAY!

I am also interested in seeing the Capers. But I really would like to know about the huge moving screen. Do they post what movies they will show all week? or do you only see what movie is playing that night in the daily capers? We would like to get to see what is playing all week so that we can choose what night we want to do this? ANyone know?

I look forward to sitting on the balcony and having a fruit plate and watching the flying fish. I absolutely could look at the ocean non-stop for hours and hours. Yeah! can't wait.

My sister and I always look forward to walking around the front of the ship. Especially at night. It's so windy that we have to lean forward to walk and after we round the tip of the ship we have to lean backward and put on our brakes because the wind is throwing us forward. Now that's fun.

We are scheduled to leave on the Conquest 2/8/9. Will that be the first cruise for Conquest after drydock? Will she continue to have the same interary as before? Does anyone know what all they are doing to her?
