  1. Agreed with the above, except for the scarf/shawl on a woman’s head. I’ve been to Dubai several times and no one will look at you funny if your head isn’t covered. Unless you’re planning on visiting a mosque, then yes, cover your head.

  2. I'm a first time cruiser and set to depart in 30 days. I'll be cruising solo on NCL, the Spirit, from 11/12-11/23, leaving from Rome and ending in Barcelona. I'll also be spending a couple of days in Amsterdam before heading to Rome. I've checked the weather forecasts but still unsure on what to pack. I think I'll probably need a coat for Amsterdam but not sure if I will while on the cruise itself. Any recommendations on must-have clothes items to pack? I currently live in Kuwait and it always seems to be hot here so I don't have many colder weather items, but there's time to go shopping. Also, sorry if this is a silly question, but what kind of outlets will be on the ship? US or European?

Thanks in advance for any advice anyone is willing to share :)

  3. Your worrying about nothing. The only thing that matters is your devices security program (Norton, Avast, Eset, etc.) That and having a strong password on on your financial account. All info is encrypted before it leaves your device. Beside, Regent and all cruise lines use the same internet connections for all of their internal on-board financial communication, such as the Purser and the Casino.

When is the last time there was a post on Cruise Critic that someone had there online account breached while using it on any ships system?

While having a strong password and AV on your device helps, it is by no means foolproof.
