On Independence you still have to keep your card inserted so we worked mostly with my hubby card while I watched I played some as well too on mine we earned our “free” cruise and will get the tier free one in April. We booked our free cruise in Feb and at that time we will finish getting me to prime so we can get another “free” cruise and another tier cruise. Now that we have figured this out we will be cruising a lot more. Instead of going to land based casinos we will save the money and use it in the cruise to earn more free offers and cruises. We will never reach the level above prime as that we don’t have that kind of money to spend as well as the fact that I can only usually get off about 3 weeks a year.

Got off Independence on 9/27 so 1 week ago and points were added today. 

Got off of Independence today. Met a few fellow cruisers who are doing the 4 day cruise that Independence is doing and then after a couple days in a hotel will be going to Liberty.

There was a shituz diabetic dog on our Independence cruise we just got off of. We actually met the couple and there is a lot they have to do to even be able to have a dog.

Reading along with you...we leave in two weeks on March 2 we are also in a promade room deck 6 though we are above the sushi restraunt. If you get a chance please post a pic of 6275 room door thanks.

We have a 8 night cruise in 2 weeks and we are getting the drink package for us I will never get it at full price always buy on sale. We both like our coffee in the morning, and then I start drinking usually earlier but soda, water is a big plus for us as well. It also helps that we go with a bigger group so we all drink and hang out.

SO ready for our Family Cruise in Aug 2016 and we all have UBP we may have to play bingo.

My family is not sailing till August 2016 we are currently at 13 adults and 3 children and most likely will have 3 more adults. We have already discussed and we will be making our reservations online before the cruise we like having a set time to eat but plan on taking advantages of all the different free places to eat on the Escape. Our family is kinda crazy and we like have dinner reservations so no matter what is going on any day we know we will see each other then.

My great niece will be just over 6 months at the time of our trip we are hoping it will be free so we can do dinner, show etc with everyone if it is not thats ok to we have 13 adults going there will always be someone to watch the baby :)

We have FTTF but we will each be checking our large suitcases with all our clothes but for swimwear. We each carry on a Vera Bradley duffle bag with bathroom stuff, swimwear, jewelry, camera and electronics, medications and my fiancee carries her CPAP machine we each will also have a bottle of wine.

1 currently for June looking to book next may for honeymoon cruise but since we have not officially set date cannot set cruise...will set cruise if I get a great deal may switch lines though we will have to see.

I had FTTF on the Dream out of Port Canveral and loved it though we were eastern so no tendering. This June I already have it for Paradise and yes it will help with tendering we also have an excursion with carnival as well. For us we do it because our room is ready when we get on board no carrying around bags (bad back/knees) makes it hard. We also are local to Tampa so family is dropping us off and we don't have to worry about such a long wait at the port. Also the Guest Services line is nice and getting to kind of chose when we disembark.

Awesome review can't wait to read the last of it. We sail on June 22nd.. Can't wait 2nd time on the Paradise.

For those talking about price drops I understand there are hardly any 3 person balcony rooms so even if prices do drop we will not get it o well we booked at an awesome price and I know I will get my money worth in the spa :)

Love this thread making me even more ready for my cruises in Jan and June. One thing I always find helpful is "decorating" my door that way I can easy find my cabin also carpet colors are typically different colors depending on forward or aft and port and starboard easy way to know where you are in the middle of cabins.

We have 2 cruise coming up Jan 17,2013 on Carnival Paradise nice extended weekend and June 15, 2012 on Carnival dream for a family reunion. Anyone else going on either one?

Trainman I have so enjoyed this thread all week. I will be on the freedom one week from today and I will be headed to the windjammer to have bread pudding in your honor. You should leave out of Tampa on Jan 13th its a four day cruise I will be on it with a group from my work ;)
