We embark on the Royal on Wednesday, thx for the tips! If we make it to Guernsey (fingers crossed) will head back early. Also good tip about cab in Dublin, we are already in London and have been using Uber all over the place. For a small group cheaper and easier than shuttles or buses.

 

I hope embarkation is smoother although I know some of that is the fault of the port not the cruise line.

I thought I read where Uber was not being used in London? That may come in handy for us if it is easy to use. We need an early morning ride from our hotel to Victoria Coach Station to catch a tour to Highclere Castle. Thinking it may be our best option?

Thanks everyone for your help. I think we'll be able to figure it out now! I don't have a problem checking my phone often. Better than disturbing others. I hate hearing someone's phone vibrating in the movies or in church.

Thanks for your replies. I understand most of it, just not sure how, once we are on the Princess web page, we “find” the person we want to msg? By room #, name, etc. We are sharing room #’s before we sail. Some in our group may need help setting things up!

I am confused on how the messenger part works. I am traveling with a large group, do we all need to share phone numbers with each other before we sail? Does it work just like texting on my iphone? Recently used a similar app on MSC but didn't have messaging ability. I love the idea of being able to communicate with everyone.

Yes, hard to locate online, but saw it once so I called MSC and booked it. It is MIA05, Hop on Hop off Miami City Tour. It uses the Big Buses, stores your luggage, and gets you to the airport (either one). $59. You can use the busses on 3 different routes. Only one I found that takes us to FLL.
