  1. Some of the Deluxe Ocean View rooms on the Breeze are listed as 2 person rooms. My mom was in one of them in July on the Breeze. We had a 4person and my sister a 3person all in a row. My mom's sofa did not look any different but since the room was only listed as 2, I guess they could not make it into a bed. On the Breeze deck plans you can look at which rooms are 2,3 or 4 person.

  2. We shopped and had a good lunch on the marina at Bayside, went to Little Havana for a fabulous Cuban lunch and souvenir shopping. We also spent a day at South Beach, good swimming, lunch with outdoor seating was fun for people watching there. We were there in July and had a great time before our cruise.

  3. Hampton Inn Brickell was the nicest Hampton. Really nice free breakfast. Lots of restaurants nearby, and a Publix for pre-cruise purchases. Also have a free Metromover tram that goes close to Bayside. We took a taxi to the Beach.

  4. My whole family had fun on the Ropes Course. As mentioned, no charge. Remember to bring closed toe shoes. Keep in mind the course isn't open in high winds. It was open some hours while in port. It was closed the first sea day but open the last two sea days when the ship was heading back to Miami at a slower pace.

  5. We wanted to get our past guest free drinks from the MDR during lunch but aren't big fans of the lunch items on the sea day brunch menu. There was a line to wait to be seated but we noticed a bar counter set up just to get these drinks. We took our free piña coladas to the Italian lunch at Cucina del Capitano. Perfect lunch!

Bring a hotel room key to use in the master light switch so you don't have to leave your s&s card and risk forgetting it.

Use kiosks to take cash out of your account if you have a large OBC.

  6. We were on the Breeze last week. We took out $1000 from our OBC using the kiosk by Guest Services. There was no processing fee withheld. We did two transactions of $500 each without waiting at all. Very easy!

  7. We were on the Pride with a connecting cabin several years ago. It was an inside cabin and there were two teenagers and a younger girl in the connecting cabin. Their parents were quite far down the hall. We could hear the little girl crying every night. We now do a connecting with my sister, which is great. But would never do it again with strangers.
