Has anyone used the baggage transfer option on the Breakaway in New Orleans?  Does Norwegian contract through Advanced Check or is it there own service?  I called NCL and was told they do not offer luggage transfer, however, under FAQs on ncl.com it states the cost is $25 for first 4 bags.  Advanced Check in quoted our group $10 per bag so trying to decide if we need to prebook the service with them or wait until we get on the ship and find out what Breakaway charges for the service.    Thanks in advance!!

We are group of 9 sailing in March.  I sent a email to Special events on the Breakaway with our dinner restaurant requests as well as requested times for each evening.  They accommodated all of our requests and I received a confirmation within a few hours of my email.  Their email is SpecialEventsBreakaway@ncl.com

Does Mr Sanchos offer umbrellas by the beach loungers or only at the tables? We are trying to decide between a couple AI and since I burn extremely easily I need to have an umbrella while sitting on the beach. TIA!!!!

I'm very curious to know this as well. We, too, are sailing this Saturday! We usually booked our cruises based on who is playing on the piano bar as that is our favorite spot to hang out at night. We were not able to do that for this cruise, so we are hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

I had not seen much information on Sonja, who is the performer in the piano bar. However, a former cruiser posted a very positive review of her on John Heald's blog.
