Anyone use Private Shore Trips?

Still looking for a reputable / recommended company?

We just did this for our June 10th sailing. We were nervous about pre purchasing as well, but after going through it I totally recommend it. Otherwise you will spend all your time standing in line or not even get to enter. With the pre purchased tickets, RIL will get you right inside and you will not have to wait. It's really amazing considering how long the lines are.

I've booked with RIL for Rome and they advised to pre purchase tickets to Vatican and Coliseum. Has anyone else done this or purchased the day of? I'm concerned to buy the tickets and something comes up that we can't use them. Any experiences with pre purchasing or buying day of is welcomed.

I have searched through the Dubrovnik Questions thread and couldn't find any recommendations for a specific company to book a city / panoramic tour with.

Can anyone recommend a company or do I just get of the ship and ask the taxi cabs that are around? We are a group of 6 so I prefer to pre-arrange.

Just back from our trip.

 

We used Barcelona Day Tours for a half day tour prior to boarding the ship.

 

They did a wonderful job for us. It was a great way to get a very quick overview of a beautiful city.

I am thinking of arranging this as well and was wondering if you felt rushed?

What time did they pick you up and what time did they drop you off at the port?

Ship leaves at 5pm so I was thinking 9am pickup from hotel and then 1pm drop off. I usually like to arrive earlier to the port but want to make the most of the barcelona tour. Any feedback would be appreciated?

Great info so I'm trying to collect enough points for a coupon from Tropicana.

Does anyone have any TROPICANA juice in their refrigerator and can pass along the 10 digit code (codes can only be used once though)?

Thanks - we will probably wait until we are on the road to make a decision and so will not make any hotel reservations. All depends on what time we end up leaving and how the road trip is going. Good to know that it's an hour away ... I thought it was more like 1 1/2 hours.

Thanks for your reply. This route shows up as an alternative on the mapping site I used and since I don't know the roads in the US, I was just wondering. We will probably stick with the route already mentioned.

Any thoughts on staying in Harrisburg instead of Baltimore the night before the cruise so as to break up the drive a little.

Any thoughts about taking US 219 S / I80 / 322 instead of the route mentioned? I think it goes south from around West Seneca instead of going south east and then meets up with route above around Harrisburg.
