Et Voila...and a happy ending on Xmas
Good afternoon Heather,
Here is the message sent to the Silhouette for XXXX & XXXX:
Good afternoon,
Concerning this situation, please send the following letter of apology to
the guests with a good bottle of red wine in there stateroom tonight.
Please accept our apologies for the erroneous message sent with your gift
as well as not including who sent this for you.. Below is a revised message
for you:
Dear xxxx & xxxxx,
Thank you for taking such good care of me. Hope you enjoyed your couple's
massage.
XOXO
Your Favorite Patient
The card with the Red Wine is signed:
Compliments of:
XOXO
Your Favorite Patient.
Heather - I do, again, apologize for the frustration and handling of this.
Please let me know if I might be of further assistance.
Happy Holidays,
-
My faith has been restored in the Celebrity brand. I spoke to a supervisor who told me that the gift was delivered (hoping it was to the right stateroom) The message on the card was completely botched. I asked that they write a letter of apology to my friends and attach the appropriate card & to include a bottle of a nice red wine...Hopefully this time it will arrive.

Am I overreacting, or am I justifiably annoyed. Any suggestions would help
I am completely unimpressed by the lack of professionalism from your company. On December 19 I purchased a couples massage for 2 of my friends who were embarking on the Silouette on December 22. I found it odd that they did not cll or email to thank me, so I called the gift department to find out if in fact it was issued. They "think" it was but my name was not signed on the card.
I sit here practically in tears that a gift that I thought long and hard on and spent a lot of money on was not issued properly. Seriously to issue a gift without a name signed - this is total incompetence!!!!!!!!

Not that I'm doubting you or anything, Worldspan.... But can anyone else confirm this? I'm booked at the Hyatt Place Convention Ctr. based on its good reviews on Tripadvisor. Travelling with my DM whio is very picky. If this hotel is really not ok, I'd rather know it now so I can change...
Don't worry I am beyond picky adn the queen of compaining as is my dm. This will be my 3rd time stayong at the hotel and I can swear by it. The service is impeccable, the rooms are spacious and clean. The air conditioner is a bit noisy but not horrible. Their breakfast has been updated offering hot items - breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal etc. You will not starve and don't forget you will be indulging for at least a week on a cruise. The location is fabulous as well - within walking distance to Publix, Dollar Tree, Total Wine, Ross Dress for less, Walgreens, CVS. Also close to numerous restaurants both fast food and not. The hotel will also shuttle you anywhere for free within a couple of miles. It is also a nice 30 minute walk to the beach. The hotel is located in a very safe area and is close to public transportation. The 40 bus outside the hotel will bring you to both the beach and Galleria Mall. If you are there on the weekend, the trolley will bring you to both of those places as well. The trolley pick up is at Publix next door to the hotel. Hope this information helps you.

We also booked with Hotwire, so the shuttle to the port is free?
It was last year when we stayed there...hoping that the policy hasn't changed

It is definitely feasible to walk to the port from the hotel. It is probably about a 10 minute walk to the port, but then you would have to maneuver your way through the port tot he cruise terminal which may be a little tricky especially wiht luggage. I cab ride would run you less than $10 or the hotel offers a shuttle which for us was free because we booked with hotwire
