We’ve done Bernard’s, and I definitely recommend it. It’s a great tour around the whole island and gives lots of information. The Mailman was our guide and he was fun. When Orient had a lot of seaweed… he changed and took us to Mullet Bay so we could enjoy the beach. He scheduled Maho perfectly to see a large and several small plane land and take off. Definitely 👍🏻👍🏻

    Thank you MeganGC1983

  2. Thank you FionaMG and Rogueperson for the comprehensive review and many, many pictures.  We will be on the March 29th sailing, after the refurbishment, but I'm sure the MDR menus and the daily activities will be the same.  FYI, we sailed on Mariner of the Seas out of Miami on Nov 26th and departed from the new terminal A.  It was absolutely flawless.  It took us 15 minutes to get on the ship and about the same to get off (however we did wait to get off until 9:00AM).

  3. I realize that it's been almost a year since there was any activity on this thread but I'm hoping that someone who has been to Martinique in the past year will reply. We will be in Martinique in March and are considering going to Anse Mitan for a few hours in the afternoon. Is there a ferry that goes directly to that beach or do we have to stop at other ports (Point de Bout) first? Once there, are there beach chairs and umbrellas to rent? Are there restrooms, food and beverage facilities near by? How long is the ferry ride back to Fort de France? Also the cost of any of these things would be greatly appreciated as would any additional information you can provide.
