  1. Wow and wow!!

Just booked my first cruise on Celebrity and well you know which ship...

Came to CC to look for some reviews and info. Found yours, now don't need to read any others! Such a fair, thorough, fabulous review jam packed with all the need to knows!

Can't wait to sail on her in March!

    A thousand thank you's...:D

  2. 3) Dress UP, in a classy comfortably casual way - not down. The best way to describe it is to pretend that you're boarding the ship in Italy, lol. Remember that boarding a cruise ship is a grand occasion, dressing up sets the tone of pomp & circumstance ! You will stand out to your fellow passengers and make a great first impression to your crew. These days so many people dress on embarkation day as if they're just going to the corner store for tomorrow's breakfast milk. Don't fall into that trap.

So glad I'm not the only one that does this! I always plan my "boarding outfit" that's a little more dressy than normal! Kind of like Kate Winslet boarding, but with a better outcome!

  3. We were in Dolphin, 733. Awesome cabin, too bad we had so many problems.. Had the best time in the casino.. Olga and Brad were great with everyone!

Hmmm... I have this cabin on 1/14. Do you have a review or pics of the cabin? What problems did you encounter?

  4.

To go with GTY, you for sure need to know what you might end up with. We are GTY Obstructed Deluxe Balcony (Regal) right now and my only fear is getting assigned a fwd-facing upgrade and dealing with the wind. But we discussed it and we are happy to book this for "pennies" different than our usual Inside pick and we'll at least have some daylight if nothing else.

I've actually heard amazing things about those fwd-facing on Royal/Regal and they are usually booked fast! I have one for my Regal next year! :D

  5. Wondering if it would be a good ship to spend a TA on. So would be interested to know what you like and do not like about the ship.

    Thanks!

If I'm going TA, I want a bigger ship. Rough Atlantic waters, smoother on a bigger one. I've been on the CB 4 times, she's a wonderful ship. Regal is my favorite but she had that new ship smell, so there's that! I'd pick Riviera deck mid-aft or middle for inside.

  6. perhaps someone can assist me, we are sailing of Freedom of the seas and trying to figure out which dock that will be coming in at?

The 2 beaches we are considering are Emerald at best western or saphire, maybe even secret harbour.... The info from the OP and replies all seem to be based on that ship at the other port? Which is the best beach closest to where FOS will dock? TIA :)
