Enchantment of the Seas, Oct 16-23
We have the same questions, we’re already looking into in in the ports of call threads. I’m curious where you can see royal hotels to book? Which cruise are you on? -
How do I know which hotels are better for getting from airport and to the port? We’re leaving from Venice and coming back to Barcelona. We need hotels in both cities.

We never felt that we were in a large crowd. Dinner reservations were all made in advance. None of the restaurants seemed crowded but if you pick 6 or 6:30 for dinner, it may be different. If you get to ship around 12, it may take you a while to unload your bags. I would suggest trying to get there around 10 even if your room isn't ready. The ship has a lot to offer- several pools and a solarium. Try eating in the solarium at least once also.

Can't answer for all ships, but on the Anthem of the Seas, the soda package price is close to $10 a day. We used to buy it but skipped it this time. There is free iced tea to drink.
We also brought wine with us to have on the ship. I think we bought 4 sodas total for an 11 night cruise. I soda with the tip costs over $3 a drink.

If I had to fly to get my cruise out of Florida, I would have been in worse shape. I love leaving out of Bayonne. This is my 4th winter cruise with Royal Carib. I have also done 4 winter cruises with other lines. It's the first time I've had a weather delay. On Holland America, in the summer, I had a cruise come back early because of a hurricane.
Stuff happens. I may not like it but I've decided that once I'm on the boat, I will have a good time and enjoy myself. If I want to have a great time, I will.

As far as I know, you won't pay for the whole vacation if you only purchase it at the end. On another cruise line, I purchased it near the end of the cruise and that was how it worked.

Most shows on the cruise ship are for everyone. It should be marked adults only. You may sit close to the exit, since most 5 year olds won't enjoy listening to a comedian. The show in the 270 is visual. With the acrobatics, it should be good.

Thanks for the chart. Last year, we were on Quantum and Devine Decadence was free. There may have been some dishes that you paid for. We enjoyed for a few lunches and one dinner.

It's always luck as to when your luggage gets to your room. We sailed on Quantum last winter and had no problem. We found it more efficient than other ships. You may be able to track your luggage on their app. My cousins were, I wasn't.

Are we allowed to go there just to see the ship? We're not going on it until January, and were on Quantum last year, but would love to see it.
