I am in NY City for 2 days. I called several foreign currency exchanges nearby and no one has ARS (Argentine Peso) in stock. They do have Chilean Peso.

Try booking.com and select Airport Taxi. For Buenos Aires cruise terminal, enter "Puerto Bs As". Also, try Uber website - it has price estimator.

We are taking South America cruise with Norwegian Star in January 2020 - Santiago to Buenos Aires.

Is anyone here able to scan the NCL Freestyle Daily (the daily newsletter) of previous cruise (preferably in 2019) in PDF format?

We sailed with Jade in October 2013 to Western Mediterranean. European cruise is all about ports and sightseeing. Lobster was served on the first dinner. I remembered refusing the third lobster since I couldn't eat more than two. Food was better than my recent Caribbean cruise with RCI in April 2018.

Hi everyone. We want to bring our own wine to NCL Escape. Does anyone know how much wine corkage fee costs in MDR?

I assume bringing wine is allowed because it is not in the list of prohibited items at https://www.ncl.com/prohibited-items

I booked my upcoming cruise with sail away rate, which is $200 less than the lowest normal rate. With normal rate, I can pick the cabin number and two free stuff.

I prefer sail away because I am not interested in the free stuff (I don't drink).

Morning flight = more risk = more stress

I sailed with RCCL last April 2018 with one stop in Belize City. It was a tender port, but since I took "Barrier Reef Snorkel" excursion (purchased from the cruise line), there was a dedicated boat traveling from the cruise ship to the private island where the snorkel started.

Barrier reef was super. We were lucky with excellent weather, no current and warm water.

I bought full face snorkel mask from Amazon for a cruise trip to Caribbean. It isn't bad. I tried three times at snorkel sites in key west, cozumel and Belize. It is for surface snorkel only and not diving. When I push my head down to deeper water, the mask resists to float. In a group snorkel in Belize, I can't talk with guide unless I take the mask off. That's another issue.

I did a complete review with lots of photos from our recently completed cruise from BA to San Antonio. Does T-Mobile data plan (which I also have) cover all ports in the itinerary?

Did the ship cruise along the strait of Magellan?

The surge protector will actually protect the devices that you're charging (tablets, smartphones, etc.) against voltage spike. But I never heard that the security will inspect your power strip and deny the ones without surge protector.

Just give me a couple of days for I can scan them and send them to you.

NCL offers a complimentary ferry to St George's and return only for its' passengers. Everyone else must use the public ferry. The ferry makes 4 round trips on Mon, Wed & Thurs, 3 on Tues, and 1 on Fri. It does no operate on weekends. Are you on NCL?

If your use of the taxifinder comes up with $100 for 1 to 4 in a taxi for a trip Monday thru Saturday, that calculation is wrong. Horseshoe Bay by taxi would be about $35 for the taxi each way plus tip for one to four people sharing. So $70 for a taxi plus tip. Not $100 with tip unless you over tip. Also the cost is shared, not per person.

 

I just tried the taxi finder and it calculated $42.47 including a 15% tip. ( tipping taxis in Bermuda is 10% to 15%) So for me it did not calculate $100, it calculated $85 including a 15% tip rounded up. So the taxi finder comes up with what I would expect when I use it.

 

The shared ride private minibuses which are a very good alternative to the taxis, are $7 per person each way. That would be $14 per person total cost per person round trip.

We have gone to Bermuda a few times in early to mid October and it was amazing. Beautiful weather and we had a blast. We have had a blast each time we have cruises to Bermuda but our least favorite time was when we went 4th of July week quite a few years back. Too expensive and crowded. Anyway we love going in October except of course having up dodge and sweat hurricanes out.
