Francis is boarding Liberty today. Very lucky if you are cruising with him.

4. When sailing on the Anthem as a Pinnacle, can you bring one guest with you to the coastal kitchen in the evening?Yes!

Anthem docked there this week, you should be good!

A simple call to NJ Health Dept would probably be enough to end the nonsense.

Or you could just book another one 😉

Can anyone give any info on Mr. Strapp? Have never met or even heard of him. Is he very personable? Nice? Good at his job?
Yes, all of the above, we have sailed with Ryno several times and he was always great!

Wow can’t believe this! Also on board Grandeur now and haven’t run into any issues, everything has been fantastic especially the crew! oh well, time for a cold cocktail and some great food!

You can ask to be dropped off anywhere, most taxis are accommodating, it's $6pp for 5 or more passengers, $7 pp for 4, there are many areas along the beach you can grab a taxi back.

Leaving next Sunday on Liberty. Anyone have positive interaction with Carlos?
I have been on a few cruises with Carlos, most recently in October before Liberty left for Galveston.
He is one of our favorites! Not sure why all the negative comments but he was exceptional every time we have cruised with him.
We just got off of the Jewel last week and had the same great service from Ricardo!
Really didn't notice much difference between both concierge's, both were very helpful, and personable.

Carlos is only in CL and has yet to get out of his chair to meet or talk to any of us!! Anis is in DL and will talk to you if you stop by his desk and talk to him!! Probably 2 of the most unfriendly concierges I have ever met.
Pinnacles were not invited to the Suite luncheon.
Carla
Very unlike them, they have both been fantastic every time we have cruised with them, two of the best in our book!

We will also be on Adventure for most of the month in February, we always stay in a GS, Adventure is our favorite ship, you will have a great time!
You will not need tickets to the shows, just show up about 15 minutes before and show you gold card, there is special seating for suite guests.
As far as the drink package, it depends on your consumption so to speak, we do not get it as with the evening cocktail hour it is enough, we do drink during the day but not enough to warrant the package.
There is also a breakfast for suite guests in Chops every morning, this is also very nice.
Enjoy your trip!

Thanks for the information. I'm on the first LB sailing out of Galveston[emoji572]️. Who are the Concierges?
Carlos Ortiz was in the CL and Annis was in the DL.
Just returned from the last round trip sailing from Bayonne.

2 days until Liberty!

Getting ready to leave on the AOS for the 4th time out of San Juan Love the ship , wonderful itinerary . Never have had a bad crew. Its our favorite ship by far.
Couldn't agree more!

By the sound of your likes I would go with the Serenade, have been on that ship and class many times, you will enjoy the smaller amount of passengers as well as the more quaint ship, we will be doing Anthem and Serenade in 2017, mostly just to try the new class, but we much prefer the radiance class for a lot of reasons you have stated. Whatever you choose enjoy!

Adventure is our favorite ship! On her a couple times a year, she is in good shape and has a lot to offer! You will have a great time!

Me too and I would add Empress to the list. :)
And I agree 100%

Recently on Grandeur we were met at the entrance to the pier and escorted aboard, Suite was ready at 10am, a couple bottles of wine when we boarded, and sweets and treats everyday all week, Jorge our concierge comped me a tux and we had dinner at the captains table, he also did a lot of other little things as well, way over the top for us but if you can experience at least once it was worth it.

It opens at 6am and usually that's a good time if your a morning person!
-
Be tempted to try Majesty, have never sailed on her!

We like Carambola at Friars Bay in St Kitts
Rainbow beach in St Croix is nice, also close to the ship
Orient bay in St Maarten
Valley Church in Antigua, little bit of a ride but nice
