We just got back from a cruise on Friday and everything went well except for the shuttle from the port. We rented a car going from MCO to the port and only needed a shuttle back to the airport. We unfortunately used a company called Travel Sanford Airport.
Do not use this company. The main number is 888-320-8497. They apparently go by several company names because that phone number is featured on the following shuttle service websites: Travel Sanford Airport, Travel Orlando Transportation, Cocoa.Beach.Shuttle - Travel. First Choice is the name on the side of several of their vehicles. They also are associated in some way with a shuttle whose vehicles are branded "Eagle" Shuttle. Here's why we recommend you do not do business with any company associated with this number: 888-320-8497. They are dishonest, misleading, insulting and used derogatory language. They kept us at the port changing us from van to van until we were in danger of missing our flight. When I reminded them that we had prepaid for the service and needed to go now, we were cursed at, told to leave the vehicle, and they threatened to call the police. We had to scramble to find an alternative at the last minute. Still trying to get a refund.
One more thing: The port officers and other shuttle services know of these people and agree that they are not reputable.
Thank you for posting this. Saves me the headache of dealing with this company.

Thank you for the info & pics, Katie! It looks very beautiful, but just like anywhere you go, you need to be aware of your surroundings. I think we'll have a great time!

Following as well. We're hoping to go to Burwood Beach in January while cruising into Falmouth.
Also, I believe the op said taxis are $10 pp round trip. We're you able to ride on a bus all together, or did you have to take separate taxis? Does Falmouth have the hop on/hop off buses like they do in Montego Bay?

How far are the bus stops from the cruise ship terminal? Do you just pay as you get on the bus?

Red stripe beach is near the port. Time N' Place is also close, but it is now closed.
Thanks for the info. Do you know if Red Stripe is available to the public or are you only able to book through RC? We're cruising on Carnival, so wasn't sure if this was a RC private beach.

I'm curious about which beach the Jamaican Beach Break is at...it's in the Carnival excursions. It says it is only a few minutes from the pier of Falmouth. Have you heard of Time & Place? From what I can figure out, it's near the Red Stripe Beach....but I may be wrong though. Silversands looks to be a bit further, but looks nice.

we always park here. we arrive early and I drop off the wife and luggage before heading to park. its an easy walk across the street from the garage to the terminal. the parking spaces are very generously large and each garage is closed and locked for the entire week of the cruise since everyone parked there is on a ship. I once inadvertantly left a pistol in plain sight with the passenger window opened and it was undisturbed upon my return.
I second Galveston Park & Cruise. So simple, walk across the street and you're there....no shuttles or taxis to wait on.

Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans-Convention Center has free shuttle to & from the port, also believe that you can leave your car there while you cruise for a fee.

Has anyone booked chankanaab, through a cruise ship? Is the food & drink included?
Navigator of the Seas
THANKSGIVING CRUISE
Sept. 23!!
Which ship? On the Carnival website, it looks like it depends which excursion you book. Some come with, some don't.

Can anyone please tell me if Bluebeard's Castle & Blackbeard's Castle one in the same??

The larger, round tables seat 10, but we've had 11 seated there, comfortably.

Thank you so much for posting such an awesome review!! We're going on the Glory for the first time in Jan out of Miami and we too will be stopping in Nassau...nice to see actual photos of places to go and what to expect. Your pics are fantastic as well!! Maybe we'll see ya on a cruise one day!! :)
Chankanaab - can you avoid the dolphins?
in Cozumel

It will be hard to avoid seeing the dolphins. When you walk into the park, you walk straight towards the dolphin swim area. If others are doing excursions with the dolphins, you will clearly see it.
