Artsy657,
Did you downloaded the Ocean Ready app and filled in the information and ordered the Ocean Medallion?
If you did maybe the Regal is not equipped for the Ocean Medallion yet.?? Maybe the best thing to do is call Princess for the answer. Sorry.
Tony
I have downloaded the app for our upcoming cruise and logged in okay. I wanted to Add Reservation and it asked for my Journey Reservation Number. All I have is the booking number and the app does not recognize that. Would it be because I used a travel agent for the booking and not Princess directly?

Thanks all for the quick replies. Our next three booked cruises are the Ruby, Ruby again and then the Sapphire so it looks like we will have to wait for another day.

What ships offer the Winemaker's Dinner. We have done Chef's Table three times and really enjoyed it, but so far have not booked on a ship that offered the Winemaker's option. Cheers ... Bob

Wow Mike! Great job! I am down 2.4 this week. Just started the DASH diet last Saturday because of my high blood pressure scare last week and it seems to be working so I’m happy about that. Blood pressure is coming down and so is the weight. Plus I am now under 200! Down 6.6 so far total. Our cruise leaves 3/14 so maybe I’ll hit 10+ before then. Have a great week everyone!
My wife and I are also on a March 14 cruise. Ours is out of Sydney. We are both working the weight off by using Isagenix products - down 50 lbs. since mid-May for me. Cheers ... bob

I have been on the Isagenix program for the past 2-1/2 months.
No program is one size fits all, you have to find what works for you!
I am on the Isagenix plan as well and I did start in May to lose before our October cruise. I lost 45 pounds, felt way better and had lots more energy. I am now using it in a maintenance way like you are and it has been a good lifestyle nutrition change.

No matter what nutritional plan you are on, I have found that intermittent fasting is great. On the program I am on I do it up to 6 times a month. Cheers ... Bob

There are threads on here asking if people use Nutrisystem, Jenny Craig, etc. so I would think it's OK. Plus I'm sure some of our posters would like to know the name also.
Isagenix ... my website on their site is gibsonsgolfer.isagenix.com

Does the plan have a specific name? I basically do that myself but have no where near that type of weight loss.
It does, but I don't know if CC allows website addresses. If you would like to email me, I'll send you the link. My address is bob at educom dot com

What did you do to lose 45 lbs. in 5 months?
My wife and I were introduced to a high protein plan that also has intermittent fasting. Tasty food and a real lifestyle nutrient change for us.

I lost 45 pounds in the 5 months before our October 2 week cruise in the Caribbean and only gained 2 on the cruise. Those 2 went away in the week after and I am down 3 more and feeling good!

Thanks for the early responses. I did not say that I, personally, do not support the current decision to offer aid and assistance. It is interesting to me to read read some who are negative towards me for asking for opinions. I do understand my contract with Princess. I also, as a shareholder appreciate the comments about this being a positive for the company in terms of PR. Cheers, Bob

Cruise companies are businesses that succeed largely by catering to passenger needs. Right now some believe that Princess is putting business ahead of passengers by continuing to include San Juan as a port call on October 10. Many are of the opinion that they are using this opportunity to drop off supplies for the rebuilding of the Carnival company’s spot there without regard for the paying passenger. What do you think.

I have just been informed by shareholder relations that we are not eligible for the shareholder benefit ($200 OBC when you hold 100 or more shares in parent RCCL) on an upcoming cruise. The fare we booked includes the classic drink and prepaid gratuities packages.
I thought many had said here on CC that getting this benefit applied had not been a problem for them. Hence I was surprised when they said that the shareholder benefit cannot be combined with any other OBC offer, sail away event, special price discount etc.
It is after final payment date so apparently nothing can be done. Have others had this experience recently? As most X cruises have some kind of OBC offer you wonder how often the shareholder benefit is ever given.

Princess allows the shareholder benefit regardless of other benefits. I, too, was annoyed Celebrity would not give it.

Thank you for the update. We will be on the Grand in two weeks. I bought DH the AIBP, he can tag along with me and my dad at the afternoon BOGO. Make sure you put your comments on the post cruise survey.
I can see a lot of 40% off bottles of wine in our future. ;) If we want to go to the Elite Lounge, I'll have DH buy a bottle and they can keep it behind the bar for us.
Apparently the 40% off is reduced to 25%

We are on the 10/7 14-day Circle Caribbean Cruise (first Princess ship out of Port Everglades this season). We have no intention of canceling. Not sure if the ship will be stopping at Princess Cays or St Thomas due to Irma, but nothing has been said yet. It's still 4 weeks away, so a lot can change between now and then.
We, too, are on the Sep. 7 cruise and waiting to hear from Princess.

You can download their Cruise Atlas which has a great calendar of sailings. It is a brochure on this page ... https://book.princess.com/captaincircle/brochureList.page?selectedBrochures=

RCL has not been a good investment for me over the last two years, and, I have been denied shareholder credit each time I have applied with the reasoning being I already have a good price for the cruise.

I am a Canadian and I have read many forum postings regarding tipping and Australia.
We have a cruise booked for 2018 in Australia and one thing I cannot get through my head is the policy for paying gratuities if the cruise is booked from North America. The cruise personalizer does have a spot for prepaying the gratuities, but I really don't know if that is necessary.
I'm not trying to create the millionth discussion of tipping :) and we have always happily paid the gratuities and then more when on our cruises elsewhere in the world.

We are booked on the March 18, 2018 Circle Caribbean. We booked under the Sip and Sail promo. There is a roll call for the cruise located HERE
My wife and I and another couple who are friends of ours are booked on this trip. We also did the Sip and Sail. I'm one that roll call as well and encourage anyone booking based on this conversation to join the roll call. Cheers ... Bob

Just back from the Star Princess and smoothies were part of the no alcohol package. At $8.05 per day, $80.50 for the week, this was a great deal. Without the plan smoothies and mocktails were over $5 each so even on port days this plan paid off. Cheers, Bob

So if you have the non-alcohol package then smoothies are not included?

Thanks, I phoned and got talking to a nice lady, Liz. She said our cruise in February on the Ruby is not coded in her system as being Medallion ready. Cheers ... Bob
