We leave on the Millie TP on 9/15. Can't wait for our cruise after several canceled TP's because of covid. We will have a great time in our Aqua class aft cabin and not sweat the small to medium stuff. Also we have decided to wait and evaluate if we want to continue booking Celebrity in the future. I sure hope we do as we have always enjoyed Celebrity.

We will be on the Millie 9/15 for 15 days. All of this makes me think what will be next by the time our cruise sails just a few weeks from now.

My wife and I are sailing in a few weeks on the TP to Japan in Aqua class. We always look at what future cruise we want to book on the ship. Not this time as we are going to evaluate our Celebrity cruise experience and decide our options going forward. We hope to be on Celebrity again.

We are on the 9/15 TP Millennium. Are any of these included in the classic Bev Pkg or do we need to upgrade? I don't drink these but my wife does.

We will be sailing with you and looking at the menu's, they look pretty similar to old menus. We will be on the Millie starting Friday for a quick getaway and will get to experience the "new" menus. I did see that they have the standard Lobster night on night 6 of my upcoming cruise but extra tails will cost. On some of our recent RCL cruises, every night they offered some upcharge foods in the MDR (Lobster, Filet Mignon and Surf and Turf). If that is was X is doing...no big deal to me since they don't offer those items typically.
Looking forward to meeting you on the cruise. We were L&S several times as well.

We are sailing on the Sept 15th TP on the Millennium. Because of all the changes going on that Celebrity is doing. We are holding off booking more cruises with Celebrity until we finish our cruise and experience everything for ourselves. We sure hope to book more cruises with Celebrity.

Yikes, I thought cancellation is over, never thought YVR to Japan is affected.
It's unfortunate for those who are affected, but at the very least you were offered an upgrade.
We are on the YVR to Japan Sept 15th sailing in AQ. Have done three L&S, Many of us on this cruise don't know when or if the shoe will drop on us at any moment. Very hard to plan anything. Final payment is about 40 days away. I feel very bad for the people who have been canceled. It would cost us a lot of $ if we got canceled. The $500.00 from Celebrity would not even come close to cover our losses.

Has anyone had any indication from either Celebrity or a TA when those of us who aren’t canceled can breathe a sigh of relief? Have all the cancelation emails gone out?
Best question of the day award! 5*****🏆
Yep, can't book anything else for this cruise until the all clear is sounded.

As of today - 11 February 2023 - Japan requires any foreigner entering Japan to prove a minimum of 2 COVID Vaccines. Cruise Ship crewmembers must have a minimum of 3 vaccines.
Does that include J& J?

We have done a 13 day Med cruise and a 11 day ABC cruise. This Sept/Oct we are doing a 22 day B2B Alaska/TP cruise. After many cancelations, we are very eager to sail again.

Well I'm triple double axis elite+ zenith menith.
I'm so high up in priority I board from the pilot boat as the ship returns to port.
I'm on the ship before it even arrives!
Nanee nanee boo boo.🚣♂️
My wife and I are so low on the Celebrity totem pole. We have to swim out to the ship after it sails.

Some of these answers are not fair ( LOL ).
Uum--- I don't think nobody would mind being bombarded with flyers from passengers that are looking to charge their cruise as a Business expense -- So,
Why don't ya bring 40 boxes of pamphlets and try ( ?? ) handing 'em out -- starting with the Captain.
Ya don't wanna waste time stickin 'em on cabin doors, and besides, think of how much scotch tape ya gonna need.
Then , eat/drink as much as you can on the first night , because the next day you will be going home without a key chain you might have won at trivia or mambo on day 3.
If the next day is a sea day, they would be in big trouble.

Next thing you know is that they will be demanding that their immensely talented daughter be able to give a solo flute and interpretative dance concert in the atrium.
Let me know how she does. I will either be in the casino or at the Sunset bar.

If we all keep on doing the power up promotion then at some point we will all be a Zenith without ever taking another cruise. Of course most of us will be very old.

Sorry guys, this is a naive question, but it's the first time we have been in this situation. What exactly does "lift and shift" mean? Does this mean we can choose to do the same itinerary at a later date? Do we get the same pricing as our original booking? Or we can take our deposit money and apply it to any future cruise, any ship, any itinerary? How would that be any different from an FCC? What is the advantage to doing lift and shift, versus just taking the 100% refund?
Thanks for your help
The only option for our 4/21/2023 TP cruise was the 9/15/2023 Millennium, 5 months later. Celebrity let us L&S for the same price and keep the same perks. Also kept the same cabin category. Our last L&S had to be within 30 days one year out. There were no Asia cruises in 2024 as options so they made exceptions.

Since no one on any celebrity ship actually enforces any dress code, this is only an academic discussion. Folks will continue to wear what they want....and no celebrity employee will tell them they aren’t welcome in whatever dining room they go to.

We just got back from the Reflection 12/8/ and were in Blu. A man wearing shorts was turned away and told to put his big boy pants on if he wanted to enter, so he did. We were very happy to see this happen.

All I can say is that Celebrity's website really sucks and they have been saying is it is working now when it has not for a long time. The good news is the ships are great and so is the service and food. Enjoy your cruise.

I rarely let things get to me, and I know I will have a great cruise no matter what, but this really bugged me.
As stated in the title, we are Carnival cruisers, because we qualify for a great rate with them, and have enjoyed all of our cruises with them so far, but, had an opportunity to book with Celebrity that I was really excited about. I (Jen) booked the cruise myself, over the phone, DH (Sam) is my guest on that booking. Got an email from them today, to my email address, trying to sell the drink package. My problem you ask, IT WAS ADDRESSED TO SAM, Dear Samuel!!! Again, I'm the one that booked it, and paid for it. I know Celebrity is supposed to be higher class than Carnival, but are they that old fashioned that they must only communicate with the gentleman? When I look at my reservation online, I'm listed first.
Sorry to vent, but hoping some of you might have some insight. Is this what I should expect on the cruise as well, am I subservient to my Husband? This has to be some kind of mistake, just has me a little worried about what to expect.
Hi Jen,
The ships and cruise experience are amazing on Celebrity. It's a good thing you booked by phone. If you want a really bad Celebrity experience then try out their website.
