On RCCL Libery of the Seas in March 2020. Looking to do Dunns River Falls. Any tour guide recommendations? Since there are 6 of us (4 adults/2 kids), going through the ship is quite costly but havent ruled that out.
I've seen https://www.libertytoursjamaica.com/falmouth posted. Any others? Anyone done a Taxi from Falmouth to Dunns River Falls and what to expect? Im hesitant of doing the Taxi route as its over an hour drive.
Thanks.

Looking at booking a Stingray City / Snorkel excursion with Captain Marvin but theyre FAQ says each stop is 30 minutes. That seems very short to me. Anyone have experience on how long the stops were?
Any recommendation for an alternative?
Thanks.

Yup that looks identical to last year.

We went on the Dream for spring break last year and looking to do another last minute cruise this spring break as well.
The Dream is the only ship that really fits our schedule, location, and budget. What are the chances the evening shows would be the same? I didnt really enjoy them last year.
Schedule does show a different cruise and entertainment director.
Another option would be the NCL Breakaway. Never sailed NCL before. Anyone sailed with them before in comparison to the Dream?

Book now, you can always do a price adjustments for new promotions.

From posts in the past, the generic consensus is there are much better cards out there for money back.

Call the cruise line and explain the situation, maybe they can assist with this even provide a phone number on the ship if you know an approximate day/time he would call.
Most cruise lines are accommodating and know this is a special situation.

We book fairly late (after final payment) so we'll use a TA. There's a site that you can get several quotes from with the OBC they offer, not allowed to name it here. My cruise here in a few weeks will have $250 OBC plus we got $50 off a hotel from our TA.

We just renewed our passports and got them back in 2-3 weeks. That was regular service, not expedited.

This is the kind of $ amounts I am talking about. If I can for sure get it paid out at the end of the cruise seems like a great option to load my account with gift cards at 10% off rather than carry cash or pay 3% at the tables.
And you'll already be up 10%, easy return ;-)

Very popular place. Just reserve it ahead of time because they do run out of space. Grab a taxi and head on over, grab another taxi to get back. No big deal.

Anyone know if they do the discount in the first night? RCCL did this.

Seen this a few times.
Best advise, if you have a warrant best to not cruise or you will get arrested on your return

Nah, just don't get back on at your last port. Happy Cruising for all.

We use a TA for the OBC they offer, usually shop several to see who offers the best. Never had issues. We usually book fairly late (less than 6 months) so we don't make a lot changes afterwards.

We usually prepay to get it out of the way but this year we are not. We have enough unrefundable credits to pay for it.

Make friends with people getting on the ship before the security line. Meet up later to exchange wine. Or pre-arrange it on your meet and mingle thread/facebook page.

We purchase insurance mostly just for the peace of mind. Never used it but for less than $75 for 2 adults and 2 kids for a 7day it doesn't put a dent in the overall vacation cost.

Find yourself a good travel agent. A lot of time they can provide perks that the cruise agency wont (basically giving you part of their commission) and you'll still get all the perks that Carnival is providing.
Paradise Beach - Spring Break
in Cozumel
Posted
Help here to those that have been to Paradise Beach over Spring Break week. We'll be in Cozumel on March 10, 2020 with RCCL and looking at going to PD (4 adults and 2 kids). Anyone know if they fill up with the new all inclusive option? I cant image my family drinking/eating enough to make the difference between the AI and the a la carte option. With this being the first week of spring break, I'm thinking of risking not getting in and trying to arrive early. Thoughts?
