  1. type in "American Express" in the search box and it will display the link for it. Says the deal expired yesterday. We booked our suite over 9 months in advance also & to get the OBC we also had to pay with Amex.

  2. Hello,

For any of you who have taken the NCL KSC tour - how long were you actually on the "bus part" of the tour while at the center? How much time did you have to look around the rest of the center before the tour was over? Finally, what time did the tour bus actually start to leave to go back to the ship?

    Thanks:)

  3. We were on the Breakaway in the Haven with our 3 (6,4 & 2) and they had a great time. The 2 bedrooms were perfect (though the 2 year old slept with us). Our room steward was always asking what they liked and if she could bring them any goodies. They loved the Jacuzzi in the Haven (it was always empty). There were Nickelodeon crafts they could do and went to Splash Academy once but didn't want to go back because they were in different age groups and didn't like being separated. We will be back to the Haven on the Gem next May with the kids because it worked out so nicely.:)

  4. Looking at my vacation summary on the website, there listed under the itinerary, was something that was never there before and I don't know what it stands for. It said Amenity Details - OB150 & OB50. Anyone have anything similar or know what that stands for?

  5. I agree with you - as long as the parents take responsibility and discipline when needed. Last year we took our 3 (6.4 & 2 - stayed in the Haven) and they were well behaved because they are well behaved kids and they know that rules apply no matter where we are. We are also doing the Breakaway to Bermuda again next spring with them in the Haven. Yes, it makes me angry at the parents who are oblivious or are just pretending to be oblivious so they don't have to discipline their kids because they are too lazy (which is at the expense of others around them).

  6. A lot of people feel if they tip up front they get better service. In addition to the pre paid gratuities, I will tip (at the end of the cruise) additional money to the people that went "above and beyond". Our room steward on the Breakaway was always so nice, engaging and seemed to work her tail off. The butler we had was the complete opposite, but then again we didn't ask anything of him that was beyond what he was supposed to do (we didn't use him for room service, making reservations, special requests for the fridge, etc..). We made sure the room steward was taken care of.

  7. I think it would be pretty tight with that many people. We were in the 2 bedroom villa last June (me, my husband, 3 kids ages 6,4,2). The 2 kids took the 2nd bedroom (very small but just the right size for kids) & the 2 year old was with us. The problem with someone sleeping on the pull out couch in the living area would be if others got up before they did and wanted to come out of the bedrooms without disturbing them. Everything is really close quarters in one of the villa suites.
