  1. Hi, all.

I am sailing out of Tampa on the Legend next weekend. Does anyone have suggestions for a hotel nearby that offer shuttles where you leave your car at the hotel? If you do that, is there a particular shuttle schedule or can you pretty much go whenever you want?

In the past we have been dropped off or parked at the port so have never done the shuttle thing. We like to get there early and want to be sure that is going to be possible if we are depending on the hotel for transportation.

    Thanks,

    Robin

Remember to double check with the hotel that their shuttle is free both ways.
  2. I would probably do it for only $300. We LOVE suites. We try to sail in suites for longer cruises of 7 or 8 days. I love taking baths, so having that bathtub is really nice. We also really enjoy the double sinks and the dressing area. It's also more room and storage. We spend a lot of time in our cabin though, so we feel like we get our money's worth.
If you spend a lot of time in your cabin..go for it,i personally don't go into public pools, hot tubs, bathtubs etc..and always take a can of lysol spray.
  3. I am so tired of this excuse. It is their JOB, no one forced them to take it!

We all have jobs and quite a few of us work VERY hard for our paychecks. So please let's stop with this excuse already!

Political correctness disclaimer: We always tip extra.

Everything has changed on cruise ships, your cabin stuart make sure your room is always clean and if you need anything like ice, xtra soap etc,but taking care of cabins are now done by a crew of cleaners,so adjusting your tip affects all the workers in that cat.
