Just got back from a cruise aboard the Jewel. I was standing in the buffet area, waiting for my Wife, when I was approached by an elderly German gentleman:
"Excuse me," he said, " Haf you been in movies?"
"Umm, No."
"Vel, You look like the capitan of the Titanic."
"I do? Didn't he die?"
"Nein. Vel, on the REAL Titanic. Ya, he did. I mean in the movie."
"Well, thanks, but, no, I wasn't in that movie."
"I vas going to ask you for an autograph....Ah, vel..."
And with that he wandered off.
Told my Wife that she is married to a possible movie star.....She hasn't stopped laughing, since...
I saw the movie. I don't remember what the captain looked like...Gotta watch it again....:D
