I have a June 2 cruise booked for my family (First time on Princess) of 4 and called to see about transportation to the port from the airport and was told it was $76 a person roundtrip. Is this by private helicopter or a private limo with cavier and dom. Wow its not even that far..... guess we will grab an uber or cab...

I recommend Meclizine as well. Sam's Club Pharmacy has it for like 100 pills for $3.75. You don't need a membership to buy at pharmacy. Just tell the person at door you are going to pharmacy. You have to ask for it as it's behind the counter but no prescription is needed.

Did you try contacting them first before calling them crooks? I have been in tours in the USA and this error has happened before as well. If they were crooks they would have maxed out your card.....

Royal will meet you at dock. There have been a few threads on car rentals recently on this aruba board that may be helpful. We reserved royal for June. I will let you know how it was.

I read reviews for insight and entertainment. Rarely have I ever experienced a review that was dead on right either way. Keep this in mind almost 4000 people sail vista every week and have been for almost a year. Then add in the fact that people are 10 times more likely to post a negative review than a positive one. Now look at the low number of reviews on this site. Now think about all the people that didn't write reviews and the fact the ship is pretty much full every cruise. Now stop worrying and enjoy your cruise. With that being said yes you may have to wait for a drink or food if you go at prime times but that happens everywhere on land too. Enjoy

I did ABC tours on a 7 day stay in Aruba. It was fantastic. It was a long day but the guides kept us having fun the whole time. My suggestion would be to look at trip advisor and see the highest rated guides in reviews and ask for one of them. Also if you do not want to drive the 4x4a tell them ahead of time and they will put you with guide. We liked this better. They also fed us lunch at their own restaurant which was delicious. Have fun.

I will never understand the obsession with what others are doing or wearing. Does the clothes make the food taste bad? When I eat in main dining I pay attention to my wife and could care less about everyone else.

I stayed there for 7 nights a few years ago and the reviews were horrible then too. I enjoyed my visit. The beach and pool were great and the food okay. Never given warm beer and no trouble getting drinks. I saw a lot of happy fun people there and the location is perfect so close to all Palm beach places. There are hundreds of people that stay there everyday but yet just a few reviews. Take them with grain of salt.

Belize is a great port away from where you dock. I would recommend visiting one of the awesome Mayan Ruin sites or cave tubing. We used cave tubing.bz for our trip and they were awesome guides.

rent a car at port. So easy to drive Aruba and see everything at your pace. Several of the rental companies will meet you at pier. There are several threads about it on this forum. Have a great time.

I was a loyal royal as well. Tried carnival and never looked back. Better value, my opinion better food, shows a little less, etc..

Carnival casino players club takes way better care of me than Royal ever did. Free cruises, gifts, and cash.

The only thing I miss on Royal was the glorious promenade on the bigger ships.

Most rental car companies will let you keep the car later if you contact them and tell them ahead of time. Royal definitely does but charges a $20 after hours return fee. I am sure most will charge a small fee like this.

I am sorry your vista experience did not live up to your expectations. No one likes waiting in lines and as Americans we want everything right now and fast. But even though waiting frustrated me on several occasions I would never let it ruin my vacation. Also the pool situation is one of personal preference. Personally I hate swimming so if they added more pools they would have to take some other venue away. I personally would like a bigger casino but I don't complain because not everyone likes to gamble. I think they do a good job overall appealing to everyone's likes and activities. Unfortunately that means that sometimes your preferred activity may be more crowded etc... You are off work, on a cruise, relaxing. I just can't complain...

Google Seavis Tours and check out their cruise excursions. They have a Sanoa island trip and a jungle safari with river boat ride. Great reviews on Trip Advisor. We booked the island trip in June. Good luck

Take the bus or taxi to Palm Beach resort area. Beautiful free beaches, plenty of bars and clubs, shopping malls, casinos, etc. A great place to walk around and very lively at night. There is a fun piano bar, etc... Very safe too.

I am all for people smoking if they wish, but unfortunately when they smoke indoors their enjoyment effects others with non enjoyment and potentially hazardous circumstances. Not to mention I have seen numerous smokers just drop their cigarettes on the floors potentially being a fire hazard on a floating island... I think smokers should be able to smoke but that smoke should not effect other people. Smoking is not a right but a luxury habit. Ohio has smoke free casinos and they do just fine. They have an outdoor sections where people that smoke can play and smoke on a covered patio. It's so nice to enjoy fresh air and play without risk of second hand smoke causing cancer and stinky smoke infested clothes.

Now look at the small number of reviews and realize that they are irrelevant. A very small number considering the above. I read them for fun but I realize that most may have had a small negative experience when first boarding and are determined to find faults from that point on.

Man I need to rethink the way I think. When I am on a cruise or anywhere for that matter I always think about others. Like if my kids are playing something and other kids are waiting I tell them to share or I say come on kids let everyone have a turn. Or if I see a large line of people waiting to get into a restaurant I leave promptly after eating to give everyone a chance to eat. I also allow people to merge on the highway, etc.. Maybe I need to rethink myself. Lol
