We just came back from Celebrity Apex Norway fjords cruise. We were in Aqua and we always sailed Aqua before.  Very disappointed this time.  No afternoon fruit, average service, toiletries - Bigelow from Bath and Body works. The Blu restaurant was understaffed. The food and variety also not as good as before (in comparison to our sailing in 2019). The thermal suite and spa is nice but the robes are worn out to rags. We will NEVER book Aqua class again. 

My DH is a cognac drinker.  Is there any cognac included as well?  Thank you 🙂

We never sailed on Silversea before, usually - Celebrity and Azamara.  However, I found a unique itinerary on Silversea Spirit and now is really tempted to book it.  Could you please advise, what is the best way to book it and when is the best time to do so? The cruise I am interested in will sail in October 2021.  Should I hurry up and book ASAP or wait for a potential price drop? Any advise and opinion will be greatly appreciated!

I must tell you, Celebrity's website is the least informative site in almost every aspect!

I also was set aback by the pure irritation in the tone of voice of the Celebrity booking agent on the phone... May be, I should have asked for his superior? Call the corporate?

This is a long standing policy and many of us have experienced this same frustration--and learned from it. ...... many of us will not book until after final payment. . .

I did not quite understand - how can one book after final payment?

I checked the price on the December 7 Asia cruise I booked directly through Celebrity. The price dropped indeed: For the amount I spent on a balcony cabin I could have booked a suite via TA sites I normally used for booking in the past. I called Celebrity, and after 10 minutes on hold a very irate voice told me, the price on my cruise went up!! Not true!!! Well, according to the Celebrity policy, no price adjustments or upgrades are made after a final payment, which I made in September. I tried to say, that other travel websites do offer price adjustments up to the sailing date! Alas, not the Celebrity itself....

Well, what can I say- full me once...

The Celebrity's agent even had audacity to ask me if I want to book airfare . No, thanks!!!

We are going on a cruise in December, from Singapore to Hong Kong, with ports in Bangkok, Saigon, Hanoi. I really would like to buy some real south seas pearls, but would like to be sure, I am getting the real ones, not the one made out of shells. Does anyone have any advise?
