This is my favorite. Some bartenders don't know what I am requesting, I found it last at The a Passport bar on Eclipse in 2014.
quote=Dawniepoo;52497213]I haven't been on Celebrity in a few years, but I am going on the Equinox in July, so I hope they still have my favorite drink.

Does anyone know....Celebrity says that they provide airport transfers in Quito for Galapagos packages on Xpedition. But, if someone arranges their own airfare and travel in or outbound on days other than the specific package dates, does Celebrity still provide those transfers to or from the JW Marriott? Thanks!

No, our will have to make arrangements for your transportation if you are not arriving the night prior to your tour dare. The good news that you are not at the airport all night waiting on the incoming and late flights. We arrived at the hotel during the we hours of the morning and had to be up for a day of touring the same day.

I am considering a City Stay in Sydney with the cruise line. My plans of trying a tour company fell through. Please give my your feedback if you booked one before.

Hi Ken, I think that we sailed together to Galápagos. I think my picture is in the background of your profile picture. We always booked the aft-facing balcony on Eclipse. We had no problems with soot or noise. We were two decks under the Sunset Bar. We have the same cabin booked for Tahitian Treasures this spring. We like the quietness and need the exercise after meals and wine. We always book Concierge Class 1. Give my regards to your wife.

I have sailed on both ships. Eclipse would be my choice for six nights. The food, service and environments is a step above Freedom. If you are looking for night life, then choose Freedom. The entertainment is better on Freedom, as well.

I don't think that I would want the MDR food Eli reed to my cabin. They always get my breakfast orders wrong. I am sure that the food would not be in the peak of quality by the time that it is delivered. I wish that Celebrity would do the Balcony Dinners like Princess. The specialty restaurants aren't very intimate.

I was very satisfied with the small ships until I sailed on the Solstice class ships. I doubt if I would sail the M class ships anymore unless they have a port on my bucket list.

I tend to book at least 2 years out and I haven't had a price reduction on Celebrity since 2011. The other cruises went up considerably in price. I book early to get the cabin that I want. My favorite category usually will sale out.

Happy that we sailed Xpedition last year. I can't imagine a smaller ship! The price will definitely keep me from returning,

Xpedition and Galápagos was the most amazing cruise and land experience with Celebrity. I am not an outdoor or an animal lover, but I enjoyed the service, walks, and adventure.

QSine is more fun with a group. Love sailing away in Tuscan Grill.

I have low salt on my profile for each cruise. The first night I inform my waiter and the Maitre D . I choose my lower salt options each night before I leave the dining room.

I haven't had any religious services offered on my Celebrity Cruises, except during Easter. We had Catholic, Jewish , and non-denominational services.
I wish that services would be available for my long cruises.

On Sea days, I like the made to order waffles and omelets in the Buffet and room service on port days. On my December cruise, they didn't get the order right not one morning! CC cabins get to enjoy the extended room service menu.

I left one of my brand new sandals on Eclipse in December. Luckily, I could order another pair. I think that I will leave them at home on my next cruise.

Yes, I booked onboard for two years out and I was told that only Delect Dining was available. I called when I returned and I now have Traditional Dining.

I don't normally decorate my door. Princess decorated the door for our 40th Anniversary and I made door magnet for our Celebrity 45th Anniversary. It is amusing to me to see the different personalities of my fellow cruisers. It doesn't bother me. I can say that I had two cruises, where my cabin was easy to find.

The Anniversary Cocktail is my favorite after wine. I am wondering if I will be able to get them after they get rid of The Molecular Bar.
-
I normally attend 2-4 events depending on the length of the cruises. The Basic one is a good start. I've enjoyed Riedel, Champagne, Around The World, Food and Wine Parings, and the wine pairing luncheons. They were worth the small fee charged. I missed the Basic one on the last cruise. The wines are usually not that great.
-
My favorite cocktail is the Anniversary Martini.

There's ample storage in the closets on this ship. I used the bins on the nightstand for small items and a large one inside one of the cabinets. My last Brunch was on Infinity in 2013.

Celebrity, please give us comfortable chairs in the cabins and public spaces. You could change the boring entertainment and I would never stray!
-
There's tables for 2, but they are extremely close to your neighbors. You can choose to socialize or not.

Make sure that you have your TA put in a Dietary Request for lactose free meals. I enjoyed my specialty coffee with lactose free milk onboard Eclipse.
$7.95 Room Service Charge
in Royal Caribbean International

This is another Nickel and Dime move! I switched to Celebrity a few years, ago and was anticipating booking with a Royal, again now that I cruise with my grand. I enjoy room service for breakfast on the mornings of my excursions. The orders are ne Dr right and not very good, so I wouldn't pay 7.95 plus a tip.
