  1. Thank you Emdee and ducklite - now I don't feel so stupid for thinking I should have a hard copy of the e-ticket and other docs....just in case. Hopefully, it never happens, but it only takes that one time to really put a big damper on your travel.

  2. Wendy: I appreciate the reassurance re lost documents. This is our first PG cruise so I mainly wanted to receive the package in plenty of time to go over all the details. And I thought if they were sent out 2 weeks before we leave, then I'd only get them a week (or possibly less) before we leave. That didn't seem like enough time to correct any possible errors on the documents or, more importantly, to allow for U.S. postal service delays or lost documents. Your suggestion of getting a tracking number is a good one. I guess it's more of a comfort level thing; for me, getting the documents 2-3 weeks before our trip seems optimal. So I will talk to my TA as has been suggested.

As to needing the actual cruise documents for boarding, that wasn't so much a concern, but I thought I needed at least a copy of the airline e-tickets for check-in at the airport. Can you tell I don't travel much? Anyway, I've just learned that I don't actually need any e-ticket (that's the point, lol) and it will all be on the airlines' computers. That helps too.

  3. I'm wondering when everyone received their final document package prior to their cruise? And if you booked with a travel agent, did the documents go to them first? I've done a search on this forum, but couldn't find anything. So any help if much appreciated!

  4. Hi. I'm wondering if anyone knows how much is the current PG rebate for the included airfare?

Also, if any of you have used PG's included flights, but booked your own pre- or post- stay, did you get charged a deviation fee and an airfare differential?

    TIA!
