We are docking in Castries, St Lucia and would like to do a whale watch tour. Would anyone recommend one? TIA

My concern with M107 is that you are on display on that balcony. Can everyone from the other balconies see you sitting on the balcony. Is it really worth the big balcony vs L108?

I have the option of 2 club mini suites for a September Alaska Princess cruise. Don't know which one to take L 108 or M 107? Seems like the Lido deck L 107 has more of a covered balcony which might be good for Alaska (rain) and more private. M 107 the balcony is huge and might be a better viewing option for Alaska. Please would love to hear opinions!

Just read that there is limited balcony access while ship is at sea. We are sailing the inside passage to Alaska. Would it really be that windy up there? I still don't know what to do.

Thank you everyone!

The only 2 club mini's left! Don't know what to do!

Which Club Mini Suite would you recommend R 432 or L 108 on Majestic?

Just booked a cruise for February 2022 on NCL Epic. Booked a club min suite on the 14 th spa floor which means we have access to the thermal club. The problem is I have room 14155 and it looks like the lifeboats are right out of our balcony. Can someone suggest another Club Mini Suite without the lifeboats?

Without a car, Santa Monica is the best place to be...(Make sure to find a hotel near the Third Street Promenade/Santa Monica Pier/Palisades Park)...There is a LOT there that is all very walkable...and lots of restaurants and attractions that work for your evenings...You may not want to walk around Hollywood late at night (I do, but I know where I am and feel comfortable)...So, when you finish your day of heading out to Hollywood on the HOHO, you'll have plenty to do in Santa Monica staying safe and close to your hotel...

We will be arriving 2 days before our cruise. We will not be renting a car just relying on uber and tours. We would like to see the Hollywood attractions ie, Hollywood sign, Chinese Theatre, Beverly Hills etc.

Suggestions on where to stay if you want to do the Hop On Hop Off Bus before cruise out of San Padre?

Has anyone stayed at the Beverly Hills Hilton?

Is it better to book a cruise with the cruise line directly or through a travel agent?

We are late 50's with 30 year olds that will be going. Like scenic drives, heard the train is nice from Seward to Anchorage. What is there to do in Seward than head on the train to Anchorage?

Would like advice on the best way to do a land tour from Seward to Anchorage. We are a family of 9 traveling so looking for a do it ourselves way to spend a few days sightseeing after a cruise and ending up in Anchorage for our flight home. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It is a true aft with the extended balcony on the port side. I was concerned that with this being a Northbound cruise and everything on the starboard side would we miss out. Love the aft balconies!

Traveling on Royal Caribbean Northbound Alaska Cruise. Have 8168 and noticed 9654 is open, which room would be better for viewing?

I booked a 2016 Alaska Cruise. Note: I called and booked, called back when I found the $100 OBC and then the next day gave it to my Travel Agent. Wish I knew the "major" online travel agencies. There are many. As I mentioned she only has day hours and cannot call during the day. These days with email it should be a given that a Travel Agent check her emails daily. Just looking for someone to watch out for me and if I an entitled to "perks" I will receive them.
-
She is a friend of a friend who is a one man show working out of her home. I had a question about OBC from another site asking if I could get that credit. Also, planning another trip and no response. Learned my lesson the hard way I guess. I always planned my own vacations but thought an agent would take the pressure off of watching for price reductions, OBC, perks as you have all mentioned. I work all day and do not have the access to call during her so called working hours so I email her. Just thought if she was in the business with smart phones that she gets my emails.
-
That is exactly what Royal said, I need to contact my current travel agent and have her release it back to Royal. If she won't even answer my emails, why would she transfer it back. So aggravated! Wish we could just name the great Travel Agents on this site!
-
That is what I thought my travel agent would do but I am not getting any return emails from her!
-
I purchased a RCI cruise online with the agents and then transferred to my travel agent. I am having problems with the now travel agent that I transferred it to. Does anyone know if I can transfer this back to Royal because obviously I am doing more on my own than she is doing for me? This was about a week ago that it was transferred to her.

Internet was extremely slow. Could not even get on at times. Online picture ordering was terrible! Kids water park was fun, closed the first two days of sailing. They were still working on it as well as the water slides. Balcony stateroom did not have anything upgraded or remodeled.

Has anyone been in this mini suite? Do you have access to the thermal spa?
