  1. I don't trust Uber with all of the horror stories - I prefer licensed shuttles that I know have permits and such for the ports and airports and carry commercial passenger insurance. I have had too many friends end up in lawsuits with Uber over accidents and such and then the Uber so called insurance does not cover the passengers. You may pay a few dollars more but its better to be safe than sorry when on vacation. The shuttles are mostly $15pp of staying near an airport hotel and a bit more from he beach but it is worth it. Usually have nice vans like Mercedes and they handle your luggage. We like Jiffy Jeff Transportation.

  2. Best kept secret in Ft Laud is Cambria Suites off Stirling Road in Dania - not far from the airport, Then we always take Jiffy Jeff Transportation to the Port of Miami for $15pp. They are very reliable and have great drivers. Very nice clean Marcedes Vans. http://www.gojiffyjeff.com. Ft Laud is much cheaper to fly into and stay at and much nicer than Miami.

  3. Jiffy Jeff Transportation goes to south beach and all hotels..prices vary depending on location. They also do all airport to cruise port and back shuttles. They are very reliable and have great drivers. I also suggest not staying in Miami...ft lauderdale is much nicer...then take a shuttle the next day to the cruise. Call jiffy Jeff for a quote..he is the only one in town I would use. http://Www.gojiffyjeff.com 305-588-6143

  4. The vans carry 14 but are not necessarily filled up - I think the minimum charge is for 3 people for Jiffy Jeff - $45 if no one else is in the van - but then you get a nice private ride...otherwise it is $15pp - they rarely make you wait - going back to the airport after he cruise is busy so you should have no problem with shared ride service. They provide a nice travel experience...

  5. Yes - prices from FLL to POM are the same to and from - usually $15pp depending on time of day. Be careful of the "trolls" trolling to snatch you up when you get off the plane or the ship - it is actually illegal for shuttle services to do this and if caught they face a major fine. I think it is like $1000 or something. Shuttle services MUST have pre-arranged reservations to pick up passengers at the Ports. The ones that attack you for rides to fill up their vans are not acting in good faith or within the law....tell them you are an inspector and see them run away from you....I did that when I came off my last cruise a month ago - it was rather amusing.
