We will be in Progreso on Valor in June. Has anyone used Sergio's Tours? They get good reviews on Tripadvisor. We are considering the 5 in 1 Tour. Cenote, flamingos, salt flats, ruins, and technotel.

I looked on the Carnival site this morning and it looks like Magic will also be doing 6 and 8 day cruises out of Galveston including Roatan and Belize.

Does anyone know how to set up a meet and mingle on Carnival ships? Any help would be appreciated.

Julie, we leave this Sunday and I promise to post a review when we return. Our cruise is the inaugural cruise to the Bahamas and we can hardly wait. And I promise pictures. My camera attaches itself to my hand upon boarding - LOL. :D

They still have Shiner after sail away, you just have to go down to the lobby bar to get it. After sail away the premium beers are sold there.

I guess once you leave Texas, it becomes an import. How funny.

Does anyone know what time the gym area opens in the morning? Also what hours is breakfast served in the dining room and buffet?

If you are driving down from Houston, exit 45 south at Nasa Road 1 and on the south west corner there is/was a Fiesta liquor store. They have a decent selection there too or you could stop at the grocery store on 61st if Palm's liquor is not opened in that strip, yet.

The Fiesta Liquor is gone. There is a Specs in the Kroger Shopping Center at FM 518 in League City just one exit south. It is located on the north bound feeder. Exit FM 518 go under the freeway. The entrance into the shopping center is to your right.

We will be on Conquest for Spring Break of 09. Has anyone stayed in cabin 8343 before? Just wondering what kind of noise if any you hear from the Lido deck above.
