My best medicine for getting over a Caribbean cruise? Move to Florida! My hubby and I did it. We still love to cruise, but now it's not so bad when we get home. Palm trees swaying in the backyard and sea spray in the air....AHHH!
I still have PCD going on 2 months later! I keep telling DH that the only thing that will shake me of this depression is to move to where the palm trees are, but he doesn't get it... :(

Hi all,
We are sailing on the Legend in September (if the hurricane season cooperates :rolleyes: ) and wondered if anyone had any recommendations as far as the best table(s) to recommend as far as window view, more private, away from kitchen area, etc;
We plan to do anytime dining, and figured as long as we were calling for a reservation, we'd request a nice table, too!
Tried to do a search of this thread, but the search is down:(
I had table #142, and it's everything you just listed above. Window table, rather private, away from the kitchen area, so far that by the time the conga line got to us, 'shhhowtime' was about over. However, it is a table for 6.

I was on the Legend in May. My room was #6197. I just looked up the deck plans and found that your room is where I thought, up one floor and opposite side of the ship from mine. It is a great location in that it is not far away from the glass elevators in the middle of the ship. (If you don't like the glass elevators there are regular elevators right nearby, even closer to your room!)
As far as the lifeboats, I took a pic from my balcony purposely showing how I overlooked the lifeboats.
It's not really an issue at all though, when I looked out I saw this...
I took those pics while still docked in Tampa. I took this one the next day while we were at sea..
The lifeboats are really not an issue, IMO. If anything, I was more comforted that if I fell, chances were I'd fall on that deck, not into the sea! Haha! Again remember, you are one deck higher than I was.... Enjoy!
